    I ran across this item on Amazon, and couldn't wait to get it for my son-in-law, who is fairly new to the world of whiskey, and whiskey infusion. I don't even drink alcohol at all, so am in no way an informed consumer; but I knew at a glance he would love it. And he did! And he does! First, it comes so beautifully packaged and presented, it was an immediate delight, even for me. My son-in-law loves beautiful things, so I knew he'd be very happy with the package itself. He spent a long time with the unboxing, looking at every item, and ooh-ing and aah-ing appropriately. He's very excited to start infusing his own whiskey, and I know he's enough of a scientist to make a whole journey of it. He honestly can't wait to get started, but will wait until after the holidays, when he'll have the time, and the refrigerator space, to accomplish it. He seemed very pleased with the various stones, and vials of various woods and botanicals. I did tell him not to rely too heavily on the included recipes, but to search the internet for what he's interested in. Not that I needed to tell him that. He knows, and will do his research. I'm very excited to hear how it all works out; but for now, I'm just gratified to know that this was a perfect gift, for a nearly-perfect guy.

    We got this to play around with infusing whiskeys. We have tried a few combos so far and it has been very interesting results. Overall we are very happy with the kit.
