    The Elite Gourmet EKT1220M Electric Glass Kettle has been a wonderful addition to our kitchen. Not only does it match perfectly with our kitchen decor and dishes, but it also performs admirably in terms of functionality.

    One of its standout features is the temperature dial and keep warm function, which ensures that our water stays at the desired temperature consistently. However, it's important to note that even when it's turned off, it still maintains the water at the set temperature, so remember to unplug it when not in use if you don't want it running.

    While we do wish the carafe was slightly larger, we opted for the smaller size to match our kitchen decor, and we're happy with our choice. Despite its size, it still meets our tea-drinking needs efficiently.

    One thing to be mindful of is the potential for hard water build-up. To combat this, we regularly heat a vinegar mix through the kettle to keep it clean, which has proven to be effective.

    Overall, we're delighted with the Elite Gourmet EKT1220M Electric Glass Kettle and would purchase it again without hesitation. It's not only a practical appliance but also a lovely addition to our kitchen that enhances both form and function. It's a great little kettle.

    It look good and dont take much room on my counter space. It does what it supposed to do, boil or warm up the water fast enough. Keep it warm if you wish or at specific temperature. I only used for water and pour it over my tea or whatever. I do unplug it once it’s done. There is no beeping when water is ready except a blue light that turn off after boiling point.
    Very satisfied with this kettle. My first electric kettle. The aqua color is the one I got and it look good.

    bought this product to help with late night formula feeds for our baby as our formula required hot water, this heats water to the perfect temp and can be kept on for 24 hr periods. heats up fast when needed. i just wish they had more colors to select from.

    Pretty good, love the mint green, and I like that it has a temperature dial.
    However, the temperature dial warming is a bit odd to use. You set it to say, 150, and it won't actually warm to 150 right away. It will go through heating cycles. So you may see the light go green and think oh hey it's ready. But it isn't. Need to let it cycle 2 or so times first. Or set it higher to get the desired temp.

    Also, the temperature select and boil lever are two separate systems. But the user guide suggests you can use them together, which is false.

    Despite that though, it's pretty good.

    I love this. So much better than a stove top kettle. It's pretty. It's fast. It does everything the description says it does. Not hot to touch handle. The pour spout has a strainer too!

    Nice cute kettle, I can't recommend it for tea lovers but I'm definitely keeping it: as far as I can tell this is the ONLY kettle that fits my need.

    [UPDATE 05/2023] ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ After more than a year of use, decided to up it to a 5-star rating. Mostly because of reliability and the fact that no other product in this price range (you would need to spend $150+) keeps water warm all day every day. My review below is still valid, temperature controls are loosely defined but you would quickly understand your settings, and it no longer bothers me.

    What is my need? **I want warm (150F) boiled water throughout the day.**
    All other kettles either don't keep warm for more than a few hours, no matter the price tag.
    or you have to boil water, then set the temp.

    no other kettle can do this...

    This little buddy does exactly that:
    I pour some filtered water, press one button and it boils it, and then lets it cool down to a desired (150F in my case) temperature indefinitely, eventually will run out of water and then auto-shutoff.

    I had to take 1 star off though, as the thermostat there is, how shall I say it, "buggy"...
    Armed with a few decent food thermometers tested the kettle. As many pointed out I found it quite disturbing.
    1. temperature fluctuates by at least 20F. i.e. 130-160 at a fixed temperature setting.
    2. operational range is not as advertised.
    (a) max temperature (marked 190) for me is 165-185,
    (b) moving control to "150F" (to the middle of the scale) lowers temp by only 10F: 155-175
    (c) to get my favorite 150F I need to move it to 130

    Your mileage will vary! I would guess that each kettle is different.

    This little electric water heating pot has a small base and a temperature control knob, as well as auto-shut-off feature. Water boils very quickly. Much faster than putting a mug into microwave. It doesn’t take up much room on counter & has grooves underneath base to wind cord around to keep it looking tidy in my kitchen space. Kinda has a retro-look to it. Can use for instant coffee, tea, cocoa, boiling water for any recipe…makes things quite convenient.

    I purchased this cute electric tea kettle when my last one broke. I use an electric kettle several times a day - for our French press, for tea, and also to heat up water super fast to use to sanitize water bottles, etc.
    The capacity of this kettle is smaller than others, so that’s taken a bit to get used to. (On the other hand, it takes up less space on my already crowded kitchen counter, so that’s not necessarily a bad thing!)
    Other kettles I’ve used in the past will cut off over they reach the boiling point. This one goes into a “stay hot” mode and will maintain the temperature at a specific setting. While this is useful, I do wish there was an auto shut off after a certain time. I sometimes forget to unplug it and I worry that it will be a safety issue.
    It performs as advertised and is very attractive. But because it doesn’t have an automatic automatic shut off, I probably would not purchase this particular one again.
