Awesome tool for Musicians

The features I use the most are the key change and slow down features. The singers on my worship team are constantly changing the key of the songs to better fit their voice. With a few clicks I can change to their preferred key and rehearse the songs. The slow down feature is great for figuring out fast lead lines.

It is really good software when learning to play songs for it can transpose and slow down tracks you upload to song surgeon . A must have software for me and is competitively priced . A great buy.

Song Surgeon is easy and fun to use

Great program. I've been using it now for 4 months. While the program can be used to change the tempo of a song, change the key the song is in, and lots of other features, I use it to simply display the chords used in the songs. It has been able to "decode" every song I've loaded into it. As a song plays, Song Surgeon shows you when to change chords and which chord to play.

I have a couple of other programs that slow down the song, but those do not display the chords. Another program I have does display the chords and tell you when to change -- somewhat similar to Song Surgeon. But the accuracy of the chords shown is not as high as Song Surgeon's. Another advantage of Song Surgeon is that it adjusts automatically to the screen resolution on which it is displayed. The other similar program I used to use has a fixed resolution, making its use inconvenient.

Song Surgeon is a really nice tool.
