    UPDATE:
Most importantly here is NO WARRANTY.
Fast Forward to October of 2019, a little more than 3 years later and the alternator is dying. 3 years and about 50k miles. Not very good. When I buy a new one I definitely won't be buying a "Quality-Built" and upon further review that name is definitely NOT a good choice for this product. In fairness I have left my original review below untouched.

Works perfectly. I bought this for my wife's 2010 Toyota Venza. I will update this review if and when the item fails to give you an idea of how long it lasts. My original OEM alternator only lasted for 6 years and 90,000 miles (I think a bad battery was overworking it and it burnt out). It looks brand new when you get it and you would never know it was remanufactured. The only thing to know before you buy this is that replacing this thing in our Venza is a major pain in the butt. If you've changed an alternator before and you thought it was easy, well you may be unpleasantly surprised doing it on a 2010 Venza. You have to remove the radiator (so you'll also need new coolant unless you are going to recycle what is in there) and the air filter box has to be, at least, unbolted and moved and you'll also need to take off the engine undercover and right wheel wheel plastic covers (to get the drive belt off) to replace this thing. Once you do that it still isn't very easy to get to. Also be aware that there are THREE, yes THREE bolts holding the alternator in. One on the top and 2 on the bottom. The bottom has a bolt coming in from each side. The bolt on the driver side is hard to get to and you'll have to wedge your hand back there to get to it. If you have a lift for the car it might make the angles a little easier but I just had mine up on a pair of Gorilla ramps and it was a major PITA!

In the end, it would probably make sense to buy the part here (as you will most likely get it way cheaper than you would from your mechanic and certainly from the dealer) and then call around to see how much the labor charge would be to install it for you along with how complex the install is for your car. It might be worth just paying someone to do it instead of putting it in yourself.

2.0 out of 5 stars Warranty????

After doing some research on Quality Built alternators I was all set to order this product. However, there is no warranty information provided for this item. After calling Quality Built sales number and being told they don't warranty their product, the warranty would have to come from the company in which you have purchased the product, it appears there is no warranty. It would be foolish of me to spend this much money on an important car part that is refurbished. Made me think they don't back their own work or product. We live in Europe and Amazon has always been very efficient about getting our orders to us in a timely manner, including the holiday season. I just don't believe this is a situation to gamble on, as it could lead to me being stranded on the autobahn with children. Very dangerous.

Terrible product. Failed in less than 10000 miles. No warranty. Very costly repair.
