I tested this in my room, which was a bad idea because it really works. I was coughing and sneezing and my eyes tested up. Definitely a deterrent from mugging etc. Easy to use and spray went across the room. I had to know it worked, and it does.

The SABRE product itself is perfect. They have mastered how it feels in your hand and the effectiveness of their product.
Before ordering, I didn't know how the twist lock safety would function while carrying the product in my pants pocket. When I pulled the unit from my pants pocket with the keys attached multiple times, I noticed that the twist lock safety had moved around to the ready-to-fire position. This could easily lead to an accidental discharge. I think for women using purses or large bags, this may not occur, but for customers carrying in their pants, it's an accident waiting to happen.
To resolve this, I would recommend purchasing the Sabre product with the flip-top safety.

This is one of those items that the wife and I honestly hope we never have to use.
However with society getting more and more unruly and both of us getting up in years it’s good to have an extra layer of protection available to us in a possible critical moment.
I ordered the lavender and black cases and the wife loves the lavender one.

Great 2 pack of keychain pepper spray. I feel safer having this with me and the lock feature reduces any fears that I'll accidentally set it off. Hopefully I never have to use it, but as a woman we always have to be ready to defend ourselves. When walking home at night i can easily clutch this and turn the safety lock off.
