    I came across this battery pack/charging station when I was looking for new rechargeable batteries for my Xbox controllers and was looking for something interchangeable as I have both the Xbox one and the Series X, using the original - non bluetooth style Xbox one controllers, the newer bluetooth enabled Xbox one controller and the newer Xbox Series X controllers. I have multiples because I use them for both consoles and gaming PC's and needed something that worked in all the controllers, which these do!

    I am glad these came with the additional backs for both styles of the controllers because it makes life so much easier to charge the batteries while in the controller vs having to remove them and put them a secondary device and wait for them to charge, and makes it faster than the other option of plugging in a micro-USB or USB-C cable to the controller and waiting for the batteries to charge based on a guess (and watching the Xbox dashboard screen inform when the charger is completely charged). I appreciate that it came with 2 battery doors for each style of controller so I can utilized both of these in one set of controllers or have the option to split the use between 2 different controllers for each system.

    The batteries came pre-charged and although they should be charged prior to use, I put them directly into my controllers and they appeared to have above than 50% charge to them, I tried one and played a few games for about 4 hours and the controller did not die, but the battery did get down to about 20% or so, which I would assume at a full charge I could get about a good 8-10 hours of gaming out of them and that is much better than the previous system I was using, while also saving money on disposable batteries!

    Charging from the 20% mark to full took 2.5-3hours or so, and the red controller icon will turn green once charging is completed. Both controllers can charge at the same time, and although there is no reason to take them off due to the built in safety protection against overheating, overcharging and the such, I think to prolong battery life, removing them once they turn green will be beneficial to the battery health as well as the prevention of the charging station from burning out prematurely.

    I look forward to seeing how long of use I can get out of a fully charged battery and how long these batteries will last overall as it seems like a very good quality system. The estimate on the picture says about 20 hours of gameplay, I would assume that is combining both batteries together; however, if each gives that amount of time for gaming, I will be even more impressed as I have not come across a good quality system that lasts longer than about 10 hours (game/vibration dependent) for one battery unit.

    The look of this unit is great as it goes with the entire Xbox related theme with the green lights and gives on a nice soft glow when plugged in. It keeps controllers neat and together, out of the way and less wires (the entire purpose of a wireless/battery operated controller) in order to maintain an organized gaming area.

    So recently I have been on a bit of a gaming kick and I use my controllers with PC games also. When using them on the PC I do not get the "low battery" warning that pops up when using them with the XBOX. Furthermore, I have the old school XBOX Controllers and I have not upgraded to the newfangled razzle dazzle latest generation controllers because I usually only played once in a while throughout the year, until recently. I say all that because I never realized, 1) How many batteries a controller can go through in a short period of time and 2) How INCREDIBLY ANNOYING it is to have a controller run out of juice right in the middle of a FPS or Fortnite Match!!!!!!! The controller will always go dead during my best match of the night or right when I finally have the items I want to have in the game in order to have a good match. So after this happened to me the 4th time this month I started looking for a stock pile of batteries because the one rechargeable one that I bought a long time ago only fit in the controller without the included cover on because it didn’t fit my controllers and I had to charge it with USB. Not exactly ideal.

    So when I saw this I immediately scooped it up and wanted to give it a shot and I am SO GLAD I DID! This little gem solves 2 issues instantly. I always have a fresh battery to use every day when I play and I ALWAYS KNOW where my controllers are! Plus the cradle looks really cool on the shelf next to all my stuff and the cradle fits my old controllers perfectly. Speaking of fit. The batteries also went in perfectly. The old rechargeable battery I was using I had to force into the battery bay and these just popped in with no issue. Furthermore, included are 2 battery covers for each of the controller versions out there, so 4 covers total. It feels so weird to play with a battery door installed after all this time without one…and I LOVE IT! The lights on the front are simple to understand. Red is charging and Green is charged. It has an updated USB C and included a USB A to USB C cord that was the perfect length for me to plug it into the front of my XBOX 360 and run it behind the shelf to the back of this unit. I love this unit for how simple it is but also for how great everything fits and works together. I cannot believe I waited this long to get a proper rechargeable solution for my controllers. Now I always have 2 fresh controllers ready to go when I am and my controllers never quit on me in the middle of a game.

    Overall, I am SUPER HAPPY with the batteries, the cradle and the included battery covers. Everything is perfect and I no longer have to have a pile of AA batteries near me whenever I am playing. Plus it looks super cool and my controllers have a home they can be stored in when I am not using them so they are easy to find when I go looking for them. A+++++ GENUINELY a great item that I am 100% Genuinely happy with and I would recommend it to others that need batteries and a charging dock for their XBOX….no matter what generation controller they may own. Good stuff for realz!!!

    Check out my video of this review. This docking station is great, works well, and looks cool on top of it all. Easy to set up, then just put the X-box controllers on top and they charge up automatically, always ready and fully charged when you need them. This charging dock will pay for itself by not having to buy huge packs of AA batteries. I give this a Big five stars and recommend it highly. I wish I had found this 3 years ago, imagine the money I could have saved between all the X-box game playing and watching Netflix & You tube. We use these controllers to control all our apps in our media room.

    It's time to step up my XBOX One controller setup with this slick XBOX ONE Charging Station with Rechargeable Battery Packs & LED Indicator by  Fanxieast. The charging station comes with a cable, two battery packs, and two battery covers that fit on the back of your controllers. It's an easy setup that takes maybe 10-15 mins maximum. You replace the regular non-rechargeable batteries in your controllers with these special rechargeable batteries. The supplied covers have small holes to allow the station's charging contacts to connect with the batteries while docked. The docking of the controllers is easy, and I tried many times without having as many issues as others reported. They seem to fit as designed, and even if you don't insert them ideally at first, you can wiggle them, and they "settle" into the correct position. The color LEDs are a nice touch and indicate whether the batteries are charged. This charging station does an excellent job for the price, so I consider it a good value, and it looks pretty good on my console at night.
