    This fruit cake is just packed with fruit. The cake part is good also. The car is real moist but holds together to serve. You get your money’s worth in fruit in the fruit alone.

    Orange peel is the second ingredient and you can taste the peel. There are plenty of nuts and that’s good but the fruit has a rubbery consistency. Not the best but not the worse either.

    The taste, texture, ingredients, and quality were GREAT! My Mom made fruitcake every year at Christmas. This is as good as her recipe and brings back wonderful memories for me. I know fruitcakes take a beating, depicted as the gift everybody wants to avoid receiving. That's absolutely NOT this fruit cake! Delicious!

    I bought this because great reviews and price. I was impressed by the quality and flavor. I usually buy another much more expensive fruitcake but this is a winner! I add a few pecans to really make the flavor burst. I’ll buy this again

    Overall, this fruitcake is on the bitter side. It needs some molasses/brown sugar type sweetness to counteract the bitterness of the fruit and the imitation rum. It's certainly edible and I finished the entire 1 lb. loaf, but it needs some more attention to detail to rise above merely average.
