    This hood is a great upgrade to any standard hood that was installed in your house. It looks great, is super easy to install, and runs just as good as described. Super powerful. Not very loud. The lights on it was very bright and help light up your cooking area. I had some issues with the gesture control being very hard to activate. I contacted Dory at customer service and she hooked me up with a new control system. Good works great now and the touch less features are an added bonus. Dory at customer service was great and helped out with any concerns and even touched up with me to make sure everything went as planned. Dory is great and I highly recommend this brand

    I bought this to replace a different brand that I bought on Amazon and it only lasted a little over a year. The IKTCH Wall Mount Range Hood 30 inch Gesture Sensing & Touch Control Switch Panel Kitchen Vent Hood is the best I have owned or seen in stores. It is very well packaged and arrived on time and without any damage. It is so easy to install and when installed is solid. The brackets keep it tight and nothing rattles. I like the width of the exhaust vent, it is wider than what I had and looks so much better. You have the ability to make this as high as you want as it's two pieces that slide into each other. These have a channel so they do not rattle and it stays solid. Also it is thicker than what I previously had and cleans up nicely. This has a standard 3 prong plug so you just need an outlet. Once installed, it is so easy to use and so far is working perfectly for me. If you want to turn the light on and start the fan on low speed, you swipe your hand from left to right. Remember you need to swipe past both sensors for it to work, as you can see in my video. Then swiping again to get to the different speeds. The fan is powerful but not too loud which I like. Plus it has a timer that starts at 3 minutes and can go up to 15 minutes. Having the motion sensors are nice because of your hands are dirty or greasy, you wont get the control panel dirty. The lights are very bright, again you can see in my video how they light up the whole stove area and even parts of my countertop. It has comes with a remote control which I had no issues with. There is a charcoal grill cover for the motor which helps with eliminating odors when the fan is on. I like this since I didn't vent it directly out. You do have that choice and they also include the hose and accessories you would need for a direct vent. I didn't get that with the other brand, so this is a plus also. The stainless steel baffle grease grills are solid and so easy to remove, wash and put back in. You just need to put them into your dishwasher. The other thing I really like is the warranty. My other hood had a one year warranty. The iKTCH has a 10 year warranty on the motor and a 5 year warranty on the control panel and lights. That to me is a huge selling point and shows the quality of the unit. I made the video so you could see how it looks installed, how solid and well made it is and how well it works. I am extremely happy with this and highly recommend it.

    I personally never heard of the brand name before and I was worried due to the price being a lot cheaper than anywhere else. However this is a great hood. Looks great, the motor is powerful. My only con would be that one of the options to turn it on besides hitting the button, is to waive/swipe your hand in front of it either left or right for up and down power. Nice feature if you have dirty hands. It just takes a couple of swipes because it doesn’t register right away. Not a big deal because you have buttons as well. Happy with my purchase.

    Looks great and fantastic customer service. We bought our first unit in January 2023. It does help suck up up cooking smell, but it does not eliminate the smell in the house. It's impossible to do that. I particularly enjoy the handsfree functionality when cooking as well as the timer. A month ago it made a weird sound like a metal piece inside of it came off and was bouncing around in the fan/motor assembly. We sent a video in to customer service, and April with customer service was awesome. She quickly had their team review the video and issue a replacement unit that arrived a few days later. We're back to enjoying our hood exhaust system thanks to April's quick work. Highly recommend!

    The vent hood looks great in our remodeled kitchen. We noticed some slowness in the suction but April with customer service was quick to help. They happily sent replacement parts, instructions and then eventually a new vent hood when troubleshooting didn’t seem to work. The hand motion feature is quite particular but does work, you need to get used to the motion to get it working, but I usually use the buttons anyway. I will update my review to compare the proper suction, but I’ve got high hopes that it’ll be good. My friends own the same brand and theirs worked perfectly out of the box and the suction power on it is great.

    There’s no way this hood has 900cfm of suction. It literally doesn’t pull anything out of the kitchen. It makes noise, but has no power whatsoever. My previous over the range microwave with 400cfm was much stronger. This company is definitely falsely advertising this product. Also once my hood was installed the hand wave function wouldn’t work and everything customer service told me to try didn’t fix it. It’s also 30 days past the time of purchase on Amazon, so I can’t even return it and get my money back. Not to mention the backlash tiles I have to get replaced where it was mounted. Biggest waste of money ever and such a shame. I redid my whole kitchen and this part of it was a complete bust. The whole kitchen will smell like whatever I’m cooking even with the suction on the highest setting. I wouldn’t recommend it if you cook and don’t want the smell and smoke to stay in your kitchen. You will be disappointed.
