    It's great getting a variety of different sized nails. Especially when you start out with a new nail gun, it is hard to know what sizes you might need, and it is good to have different sizes available for different projects. Then later, I can decide I need more of one size or another. My suggestion to Dewalt is to add a sample pack to the nail gun box. It would probably make me order additional Dewalt branded nails than some other brand, if they had already been included.

    I got these to go with my new DeWalt battery Brad nailer as an assortment to try out. Worked well. I have since ordered larger quantities of the size brads I need.

    I’m working on my first home renovation (not a professional contractor). As it was time to mount the baseboards in the bedrooms, I started to look for Brad nails for my 18-Guage nailer. The nail packet selections at the big box stores were either much to large (contractor quantities of 2500 or more nails) or, available in very small packs for small fixes only.

    As I needed more than the small packs offered, I jumped on Amazon just to see if I could get the contractor quantities at a lower price. On the first search page, this pack of 900 pieces showed up. It was something the stores didn’t have in stock at the time.

    This DeWALT 18 GU Project Pack featured 3 different length nails: 3/4”, 1-1/4” and 2” (300 pieces of each). I could use the shorter nails where there were studs, and the longer ones should I need to tack it at an angle into the floor. The nail count was more than I needed for all three bedrooms (with nails to spare). And, they were priced fairly ($9 at the time of the order). Could not have been happier with the selection and ease of finding it.

    Nice to try all sizes of brads to find which works best on the project. Priced equivalent to big box home centers, but in stock when it was needed through Amazon… unlike the home centers.
