    To be honest, I had my doubts. I got this yesterday and am using it right now. I live in a 100 yr old house, so a LOT is lacking. I'm using the self cleanin option g on my oven. This used to activate the fire alarms. NOT TODAY!!! I would highly recommend!

    This portable range hood does a decent job for its size. It’s easy to set up and has a detachable aluminum filter that’s simple to clean. It definitely helps reduce cooking smells, but it doesn’t eliminate them completely, especially with stronger odors like indoor BBQ or hot pot. The fan is fairly noisy and works well for small spaces like an RV or a compact kitchen. It’s a good option if you need something portable and convenient, but don’t expect it to perform like a full-sized range hood. Overall, it’s a helpful tool for light cooking and reducing smells, but not perfect for heavy-duty use.

    I say that because it is a little hard to believe that this can have a noticeable effect on cooking fumes if you are not cooking under a fan hood. But it actually does and I had to use it for about a week before I was convinced.
    Now in comparison I had made my own version of this when I was waiting for it to get here but after trying both out for several days I came to the conclusion that this one is better in sucking up the greasy air. But mine is using the wrong kind of fan and if I switch to a fan that is rated for cooking fumes it might work better.
    So I got to give it to the engineers who made the Kingbull fan because it does work pretty good on the second setting. The first setting is not strong enough however so just always put it on the strongest setting.
    This thing is also cool because if you are a really good talker I can see you convincing a health department official that this works in a small store that might not have a hood fan. They would be reluctant to give you a pass without a hood at all but even that I've seen happen as long as the door was open when cooking.

    Unfortunately I did not see the benefit for this product and it is a waste of money and time. I was cooking a steak in a griddle and the portable range hood did not help with the smoke at all.
    I am not sure if I was supposed to put on a extra filter, but the instruction did not mention anything about the use or installation, it was basically just a plugged fan moving air around, I was expecting a portable range hood with its own battery.

    I was skeptical at first, but this portable exhaust fan has really impressed me. I don’t have a proper range hood in my kitchen, so I needed something to help with cooking fumes—and this fan actually works! After using it for about a week, I noticed a clear difference in how much smoke and grease it pulled from the air.

    It’s compact, easy to move around, and fits right in with the kitchen setup. It has two fan speeds, and I found that using the stronger setting is the best way to get good results. The fan is not too noisy, so it doesn’t interfere with conversation or watching TV, which is a bonus.

    What’s really great is how adjustable it is—you can direct the airflow wherever it’s needed. It’s not a substitute for a full hood, but it’s a fantastic temporary or supplemental solution. It even works well for tabletop grilling or frying, making it useful in more than just the kitchen. It’s a bit of an investment, but totally worth it for keeping cooking fumes under control. Highly recommend!

    This is a mostly plastic fan that is incredibly ugly and cheap. Everything about this screams cheap. The fan moves a decent amount of air, but it is loud. There are only two speed settings. The high setting is incredibly loud and it makes a high pitched noise on high. I hate just about everything about this.

    I currently have an old kitchen with an equally old, almost dead exhaust fan over the range. It not only looks ugly, but it doesn't work worth a darn, so when the kitchen gets remodeled, it will get replaced. Till then, I saw this portable exhaust fan for the kitchen, or even the workshop, and thought I would give it a try. It came quickly, no flaws when opened, and it works! I can easily move it around my kitchen depending on where I am cooking something at the moment, and it has two speeds for the fan, as well as being adjustable to get the fan directed where you need it the most! Not a cheap kitchen appliance, but boy, it will be really handy for me till I get my kitchen remodel started and done! And it even came in white to go with my othre kitchen appliances.

    We fry a LOT and this has helped keep the grease splatter and buildup down in both of our kitchens. Its easy to use and we like that we can put it near what we're cooking to suck everything right up. Its delivered noticeable results and we're pleased.
