    A beautiful addition to my kitchen. A little hard turning the knobs but I’ll get used to it quick. A lot of burners for additional cooking. Fits perfect in my cutout. Looks fantastic with my matching empava oven. Needs constant cleaning as you can see particles on it after cooking

    1.0 out of 5 stars Low flame with low pressure

    I bought this product on Feb-8-2021. I followed all the institutions for tuning the product to LPG. It worked really good for a week and then the pressure dropped.
    Now the flame is not good enough and pressure is low.
    I created an issue/ticket at Empava.com.

    This is a nice looking, simple cook top which has the capacity to use natural gas or propane, although there are some technical challenges most people will face in setting this up. The biggest issue is the connection to the gas source. But more on that in a bit. First, you should know the top comes with the natural gas fittings inserted, but if you want to change to propane you must replace all the fittings, which are included with the unit. It is a simple matter to unscrew the NG fittings and screw in the provided LPG fittings. That's the easy part. To hook this up to a gas source, however, is a challenge in the U.S. because there is no standard fitting for this. I had to gather a number of fittings together to get to the point of being able to hook it up to a propane tank. Here are some pictures of my set up. Here were the parts necessary:
    Hose Barb 1/2" x 1/2" (this was necessary because only these types of hose barbs seem to have the shallow depth of pipe fitting and a gas type compression fitting that would work. All other pipe fittings simply have too long of a depth female end to snug it up properly);
    Next was a 1/2" piece of gas rated tubing (rated to 250 psi even though propane only runs about 1/2 a psi) with hose clamps;
    Next in line is a 1/2" hose barb with a 3/8" female pipe fitting on the other side;
    Next was a 3/8" x 3/8" flare adapter to change the female 3/8" to a male 3/8";
    Finally at the end is a 3/8" nipple that changes the 3/8" pipe screw to a 3/8" thread that fits a propane regulator.

    2.0 out of 5 stars Defective Unit
    Reviewed in the United States on March 2, 2019
    We purchased this stove top in October, 2018 but were unable to install until January 2019. It looked beautiful in the box. When we installed it, we had a problem as none of the burners would light without using a match. We contacted the company. They were a bit slow with customer service. Originally we called them 3 times, leaving messages of the problem and requesting a callback that never came. We then contacted Amazon and received an e-mail asking if all the burners were out or just one. We advised all were out. They sent a 2nd message asking if we had plugged the unit in. (Duh!) Yes of course! Double checked the outlet as well. We contacted Amazon again after not hearing from them. We then got an e-mail that they would send us a new circuit board. I asked what was involved with replacing it and again, got no reply. We advised Amazon of that and we got an e-mail saying they would send the circuit board with instructions. We are fortunate that my husband is VERY handy. Together we took the unit back out of the counter, disassembled the unit, and removed the top from the base. The instructions given were hard to follow as they neglected to let us know there were screws underneath the sides. We removed each wire from the old board and placed it carefully back in the same spot on the new one. The unit now works beautifully! We love the way the stove top looks and how VERY easy it is to clean. It's a bit of a challenge to get used to the safety features that make lighting it a bit slow, but safety is a good thing over all.

    I'm using this to replace my old stove which only had 2 burner working. I really like the stainless steel looking of it that I piratically do not have to do anything to my kitchen and this fit right in.
