Upon initial opening of the product, the Gorilla wood filler was like moist sand. The filler was used to fill small holes in wood surface before painting. Easy to apply. Good adhesion. Dried quickly. The wood surface was smooth to the touch after light sanding nothing visible after painting. Some days later another wood surface with holes needed repair before painting it.
The filler comes in a square plastic container that is sealed with a thin plastic lid. (See photo 1) Upon lifting one corner of the container lid to remove it. The back edge of the lid sank, then separated into two pieces. (See photo 2) With the lid removed, the filler was noted to be dry and crumbly from exposure to the air. The product was past the return eligible date.
