The unit itself is very light weight and compact. The garment bag that encloses everything while drying is very light, almost like the material for those inflatable Halloween costumes. You might need to be delicate with the zippers as they don't seem very sturdy. The dryer has a timer and two speeds/power settings. On the highest setting, it is still quieter than a hairdryer. I also appreciate that it has a UV light especially for what I am using this for.
The power cable is a bit short though. At the height I have this hanging, it doesn't reach the outlets close to the ground so I need to use an extension. You will need hangers to hang what you are drying - I use one that can hang multiple things. So keep in mind that this whole unit needs to hang somewhere while it is in use.
Overall, this is handy to have and easy to use - I wouldn't hesitate to bring this on our RV adventures in the future.
