5.0 out of 5 stars Great fun, weakness in steering link (my repair photos)
Reviewed in the United States on July 31, 2022
These are great fun and value, and even more fun if you buy more than one for the kids to ride together or race. Works best on very smooth surfaces like concrete garage floor.
They do have a weakness in the steering mechanism where the knurled (roughened) sections can snap off and then it is no longer possible to ride. I attempted a repair that is working so far: 1) disassemble (use a 14 mm socket (the assembly instructions with ours incorrectly said 17 mm)) 2) break off the remaining knurled pieces 3) get a spring doorstop and cut out from the tapered area the section that is just narrow enough to fit inside the steering tube, and just wide enough to fit over the bolt with the conical end. 4) Put spring section over the co ical bolt with the narrow end of the spring against the cone 5) Reassemble and tighten until the steering “wheel” and front wheels are locked together. If it slips, tighten more. See photos.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect

Great product! I followed the YouTube tutorial to build it. The instructions that came with it were not very good. The steering wheel and wheels do get offset from riding so from time to time it needs to be readjusted and aligned. I bought a like new item for discounted pricing and it was brand new! Perfect for any age group. I bought them for 17 months old, 2 years old, 6 years old, and 7 years old. I put the 17 months old between me and the steering wheel and we ride it together. He loves riding it together since he's not able to control it yet. We max out the weight capacity, we weigh approximately 160-170lbs together and it still rides fine. Very sturdy and easy to maneuver.

I recently purchased this ride-on toy that initially seemed perfect for my child. The design is visually appealing, with bright color (pink) and a friendly shape that immediately caught my little one's attention. The concept of the toy is fantastic, promising hours of fun and developmental benefits through active play.

However, we encountered a significant issue that has made the toy nearly unusable: the steering wheel does not stay attached. This flaw undermines the entire functionality of the ride-on toy. Without a secure steering wheel, it's difficult for my child to steer and enjoy the toy as intended. Each time my child tries to use it, the steering wheel detaches, leading to frustration and disappointment.

While the overall quality of the materials and the design concept are commendable, the fundamental problem with the steering wheel attachment renders this product impractical. I hope the manufacturer addresses this issue in future versions, as it has great potential to be a fantastic ride-on toy with just a bit of improvement in its construction. Until then, I cannot fully recommend this product due to the significant usability issue.

4.0 out of 5 stars "wedge head" connector for steering should be a std bicycle "quill " design
Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2023
We purchase these a dozen at a time for our lg pvt preschool. We like them because they are light-wt (so the children don't get hurt form smashed fingers & feet, of from crashing. Also due to their reasonable pricing, we can afford to replace them and keep fresh / new equipment for presentation. Easy to assemble (about 10 per every 3 hrs). The only issue is the "wedge head" connector for steering that has problems. It should be a std bicycle "quill " design. (dn-tube is too small diameter for std quills). They wont stay on and so little 3 yr old can pull them off. These connectors are commonly used for anchoring in concrete for stationary construction, not steel tubing in a dynamic situation. Cannot begin to explain how dangerous this could be. Also, we leave the foam cover over that same steering dn-tube off. That is the first thing they will pick at, tear off, & put in their mouth!

5.0 out of 5 stars 2 yr old loves it!

I bought this for my two-year-old, and she absolutely loves it! We have a pretty big hill and she’s able to make it up the hill on her own. She loves taking this on walks and we also take it to the coffee shop or parks—basically anywhere with pavement! I feel confident in her ability to ride on it safely because it is stable and was fairly simple to put together.

This is the 3rd one of these we’ve bought. They seem so safe and fun that we got one for each of our grandkids. Ages 15months-5 years are still flying around on these.
Good seller too.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not good quality
Reviewed in the United States on July 30, 2024
The quality of the product was not what we hoped for. Cheaply made. The wheels don’t grip the floor well enough to move the car. The plastic is thin. I Don’t believe it will last. We have another official wiggle car and it is much better. We returned this one. I should have known from the price it wasn’t the same.
