    I paid full, retail price for this crapola. It doesn't do anything-- just like the other reviewer says. It wouldn't even recognize that there was a DVD in the DVD player. I don't mean that it wouldn't see the player-- I mean it couldn't read DVDs at all. When you run the program the display is all squeezed together so that you cannot change many options. Customer service sent me on the run around for another week and finally just about admitted that they know their software doesn't do anything. They also would not refund my money. I threw this junk software away-- it is so bad that I couldn't bring myself to foist it on someone used. Go with shareware instead. I will never buy another product from COSMI.

    Yes I gave this 5 stars so people will read this, in keeping with "duping" the customer like COSMI Software. This software simply does not work. Don't waste your time. Don't waste your money. I will never buy another COSMI product.

    As to the positive reviews by others, I suspect they are COSMI employees. You will notice that the positive reviews are written in styles that are all very similar and all very simplistic.

    By the way, the UNINSTALL doesn't work either. What a piece of XXXX.

    You're better off paying the extra $50 and buying a half-decent DVD burner. I saw this product in Best Buy and it looked pretty good, but boy, was I wrong. Whenever I try to copy a DVD an error message comes up. As a matter of fact, I'm uninstalling it as I write this review. Do not buy this product.

    Once I needed to copy a DVD, but had no DVD recorder, so i decided to use DVD Ripper. It is great for such occasions. Although it is a little slow, I am very happy I was able to copy the DVD w/o buying an expensive DVD recorder!!!

    It cost less but took a whole day just to burn a dvd to cd, I don't recomend to but it. I have a Windows Xp Pentium 4, and this software is the slowest software I tried

    All rippers are slow but this one worth trying. I use the software sometimes and it works better on my computer that the other rippers i have.

    I tried 3 dvd's before giving up-all 3 said unable to copy-dvd is copy protected.... this is junk- since it won't copy "copy protected" dvd's, what will it copy? I am assuming nearly ALL dvd's will be copy protected. Waste of money.
