    A STORM OF INFINITE BEAUTY is a standalone read with a great ending. There are no sexy scenes so any age can read and enjoy. OMG THIS BOOK IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. I have never been one of almost 19.000 reviewers. That should tell you all you need to know about whether to get this book or not. I have never seen a book with that many reviewers. I can easily see how it inspires people to want to share how great it is.

    This author normally starts off in today's time, then an item, an event, etc. will take you back in time to learn the story of that time. It goes back and forth in time to help you keep up with modern day as well as the past. The story is woven in such a way that you cannot put the book down for fear you will miss something. This author can make you cry, laugh, be sad, happy, feel a part of the characters you are reading about all the while getting a story that will stay with you for a long time. I discovered this author with the series THE COLOR OF HEAVEN. I was completely blown away by that series and now I am working my way through some of the others. I keep thinking there has got to be a stinker before long but so far nothing but GREAT reads.

    As with the other books, they are too hard to review because there is so much going on that you would give too much away to get into any detail. I will say this. A young woman back in the 60's-time frame finds herself pregnant. She thought she was in love and would be with her love for life. Didn't happen when her brute of a father discovered her pregnant and sent her to a remote area of Alaska where he planned on her having the baby, giving it away, returning home and living her life as he dictates. Didn't turn out that way.

    This is her story, but she connects with a young woman going through some of the same feelings, griefs, etc. in today's timeframe. There is a lot of drama. A lot of laughs. Lots of descriptions of Alaska and the beauty that state has. It is an outstanding read and one I definitely highly recommend.

    Author tells a good yarn with an enough twists to keep you page turning. Locations are scenically described and evoke a sense of wonder. Definitely will look for another book by this author.

    This is the first book by Julianne that I’ve read. Love the way she writes and how the characters come to life. She takes you on a journey and I don’t want it to end. The descriptions of the places and events are so real you can almost visualize them. I’ll be reading more books written by Julianne.

    I really enjoyed reading this book. I really liked the characters and how Gwen Hollingsworth and Peter Miller went on an adventure to find out the mystery of the missing year of the famous actress and song writer, Scarlett Fontaine (real name Valerie McCarthy) who passed away thirty eight years ago. I also liked the storyline that revolved between Gwen and Peter relationship and the events that happened to Valerie during her pregnancy and the earthquake that really happened in Valdez, Alaska. The detail descriptions of the scenery through the eyes of Valerie and Gwen made you feel you were right there with them. This story is full of sadness at times but also full of wonder. Also liked the ending on how everything turned out. I would definitely recommend this book.

    This was a wonderful book. The characters were easy to relate to. There was so much of goodness, love and loyalty mixed in with jealously, selfishness and betrayal. Peoples lives mingle and leave impressions- good and bed.

    The mystery builds early but became muddled for me mid way. I couldn’t grasp why it was such a struggle for Gwen to divorce Peter or that she would even consider reconciling. No real explanation as to how Valerie had her break into Hollywood or achieved the level of fame she did, which would have been interesting to know. I was glad to learn historical facts but felt the characters were overly flawed. And there were telephones in 1964. Valerie could have called Drew once she reckoned Mrs Brown was intercepting her letters (unlikely in real life - mail tampering is a Federal offense).

    I read this book overnight! ..I couldn’t stop reading! It was one of the most interesting and inspiring stories I’ve read recently….i so enjoyed this book from beginning to end and actually when I saw I had only 50 pages left, I kept stopping and doing things so I couldn’t finish it !! …..I didn’t want it to end !! …
    Get this book if you want to read a Beautiful Story from Beginning to End……
