Edit: the photos are literally 4 days after planting... they’re already going gangbusters. Will be ordering more probably.
Just got here and I planted them in some potting soil I mixed with some sand so they have good drainage. These came packed in a bubble wrapped ziplock surrounded by wet paper towel to keep them nice and moist... they look really good to me anyway... they had started shooting out more stems on the way here ... they seem much more verile.. or whatever the word is for full of energy and life... the seem more viable than the rhizomes I’ve purchased from brewing stores in the past. If these don’t grow like mad it will probably be my fault but if you know hops at all these look really good and if they look like this they usually grow like weeds and you get lots of flowers even the first year. I should have taken a pic before planting. Normally when I get them from hombrew places they look half dead and it’s usually just a small cutting... these were fat 1/2-3/4” chunks of root stock about 4-5 inches minimum and both of them had at least 5 new shoots already trying to get going, one even had some tiny leaves trying to bud
