Tasty Vegan Jerky with an Addictive Quality

This is the first time I have tried a vegan jerky, and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. Even though I am not a vegan, I found this to be enjoyable and a great snack option.
The flavor is fantastic and it offers a delightful taste that stands out from traditional meat jerky’s. It’s chewy and satisfying with a meaty quality to it.
One improvement I would suggest is updating the packaging to be resealable. This jerky has an addictive quality to it, and once you open the bag, you may find it hard to resist eating it all at once, but if you can stop yourself, a resealable bag would help keep it fresher for longer.

It's a lot like another vegan jerky brand (that I love), but this Korean BBQ flavor is so good. So, it's a nice alternative for when I get tired of my usual brand (which isn't often).

It has a wonderful texture, and a very satisfying chewy feel, but something about the flavor is a little off. I got the Korean BBQ and it's a little fake-sweet, and it kinda ruins an otherwise good meat alternative. Maybe another flavor is better?

Much sweeter than most vegan jerky

This has a nice texture and good flavor but the sweetness is cloying such that I can't really continue buying it. Look at the nutrition label to see that a single serving (28g) has 4g of sugar, or over 3Tbsp equivalent. It tastes like it. It's also a little off-putting to me that they put this huge westernized bag over the internal product, a separately bagged and product from Korea. It's fine that it's from Korea, but the fact that it looks explicitly repackaged takes away some of the product feel.

False advertisement - It is not 31g protein, not even close

I normally do not write reviews, who has the time. But it irks me when companies make false claims so I am calling out this company for saying the product has 31g of protein. It only has 22.5g - that is for the whole packet. Per serving it is 9g and there are 2.5 servings making it 22.5g.
To top it off, it tastes pretty bad - I ordered the smoky chili flavor. And the product is not all natural - it has artificial flavors which was not mentioned in the ingredient list on Amazon. But I can see this on the package.

Update: I changed the star rating from 2 to 1 because Amazon won't allow me to return this product and it does not have a process for to log a false advertisement complaint. I finally called my credit card company to intervene since I do not want others to be misled the way I was.

I was debating between Korean BBQ & smoky chili, but I had too good experience with Korean BBQ so I had to order smoky chili for the fair start. The flavor is on point with good smokiness and right spiciness. And I wanna talk about the texture. It's like good chewy chicken skin or like half-dried squid and the good flavor is in there as much as I can chew. It was a real good beer snack to have. Now I can safely order Korean BBQ flavor lol.

I received my first UNLIMEAT Korean BBQ Jerky yesterday and I couldn’t be more excited to dig in!
Nicely surprised at how flavorful it is and has that good meat like bite like other jerky products. With 9gm’s of protein for only 1 oz it’s a protein packed plant based snack. Non GMO, No MSG and low fat so no extra bad ingredients! Clean eating ????
Because I travel a lot this is a good protein snack to have between flights and meals.

I highly recommend UNLIMEAT Premium Vegan Jerky, Korean BBQ Flavor. I have tried various kinds of regular jerky and some varieties of plant-based jerky and never really been satisfied with their consistency or flavor. This jerky has a great blend of some spiciness and some sweetness. Also, unlike some jerky I have tried it has body but isn’t tough or rubbery. A friend suggested that I try this after hearing me complain about my lack of options to carry on to a plane for longer flights at a time when airline “meals” are pathetic. I will be sure to carry a couple of packages in my carry-on to provide a tasty alternative or supplement the power bars on future flights. I will also be sure to add it to my backpack when hiking. This jerky would also be an excellent choice to add to your mix of camping or hiking snack supplies. However, I also intend to use the Korean BBQ jerky at home for an occasional snack treat.
