    This is a good classic wood rolling pin, I have a pastry rolling pin with the tapered ends, but I still like this old basic pin with the handles. This is very sturdy and heavy without being like a marble pin (which I think is too heavy!). A nice price as well.

    I couldn’t be happier with this rolling pin! From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell it was built to last. The durable moisture-resistant hardwood feels sturdy and dependable, even after several uses. It’s a relief to know I won’t have to worry about it warping or cracking over time.

    For some reason, rolling pins are fairly expensive. I do like this unit, but I can feel the metal bar on the inside bend slightly and in a way that makes me nervous when I'm really pressing down for thin doughs like pierogis or tortillas. So far it's held up, though. Very easy to clean by hand.

    My wife and I had been going far too long without a good rolling pin, so I put in some research to find the right one and I'm so happy that this is the one I chose! It's a sturdy, no-frills, highly functional rolling pin that has held up really well after several months of frequent baking (we've been doing a lot more at our house during the social distancing era than before.) Here are some highlights:

    -FUNCTIONALITY AND SIZE: Requirements for a good rolling pin aren't too complicated. If it holds up well, flattens the dough as desired, and is easy to clean, I'm happy! This pin checks all of those boxes. We haven't had any problems making the variety of baked goods that we enjoy (including pies, cookies, pizzas, etc.) with this pin. Its size (see pictures) allows for pretty versatile baking.
    -EASY TO CLEAN: The no-frills design of this pin makes it a pleasure to clean. There aren't any hard-to-get grooves or anything, so a simple scrub brush makes quick work of it. You can also quickly clean and dry it mid-project, if you want.
    -DURABLE: As I mentioned above, we've had this pin for over 6 months now and it's been put to heavy use in our kitchen. It doesn't show any signs of breaking down anytime soon!

    All told, we're very happy with this pin and would highly recommend it for anyone from casual bakers to baking enthusiasts. Enjoy!
