Tried 'em out on a bottle of Prosecco, and damn, it kept that bubbly goodness alive for over a week. Honestly, it might have gone longer, but, you know, we finished the bottle. These stoppers are the real MVPs for keeping the party alive, even after the party's technically over. Cheers to that! ????✨

UPDATE: After 10 months of use I still like this stopper and it continues to do a superior job of sealing pressurized bottles of champagne. I also use it for wine (which I consume a lot of the alcohol-removed variety). So, no failures at all during this period, except initially. I am careful to rock the stopper, if necessary, gently and not abuse it. I am also using the stopper that I did not file the edges of (see review below) and I am careful about how I handle it. I do not know if the manufacturer has made changes to the product since i purchased it. I recommend you clean the stopper with a damp cloth only, as the circlip and spring in back of it will rust, even though the body of the unit is stainless steel.
ISSUE #1: edges are sharp, so sharp they are a safety hazard and must be handled carefully. This can be fixed by filing the edges with a small metal file (and I mean every edge your fingers can touch). I did this on two of the 3 stoppers and I'd really prefer this be done during manufacturing. Filing is tedious.
ISSUE #2: read other posts and find it falls apart quickly. It does indeed and I believe the culprit is the circlip in pic1 which sits in a groove in the body. It is meant to keep the seal and spring in the body, but they can slip past the circlip. It is still ductile (circlips are normally hardened steel) and rocking the unit while uncorking it can push the circlip deeply in the groove and bend it and then the black plastic disk on which the white seal is mounted can slip past as in pic3. I tried to capture this in pic2 but it is difficult to see the close tolerance. Pic#4 shows the black disk captive under the circlip (as it should be). So, you can fix the stopper if it comes apart but it will keep happening. The circlip needs to have a smaller inner I.D. to correct this.
Due to those 2 issues I cannot recommend this unit. A revised circlip and smooth unit edges are needed and this would be a definite winner! (I'll continue to use mine).
