5.0 out of 5 stars Wow, surprised and delighted!

I was not expecting such a well made stand. I have a K & M ($150) stand which this resembles and this is nearly as good. You won't want to put a heavy mic on it, but for my uses (and probably most uses) it is perfect. Solid and light at a great price. Love the white color as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not the sturdiest mic stand I own, but for the price and portability it's great, love the white!

I love that it's easily folded and retracted in to a small footprint, and includes a bag. And I love that it comes in white. It holds a Shure SM-58 and cable just fine, although if the end boom is flipped on the down side the mic will tilt down, the clip isn't very taught. I am 5' 10" and it easily reaches my height and extends over a music stand with good reach. It is not as sturdy as a $200 stand, but it doesn't cost that. Especially when it's extended on all sections it can seem on the border of being flimsy. Otherwise for being so affordable it's excellent to have as a backup stand, or heck even a main stand. Won't hold up to on-stage antics, but if you're well behaved this is a great affordable stand.

I recently acquired the "CAHAYA Dual-use Tripod Microphone Stand" and had a mix of experiences. It’s worth noting both the highs and lows to give potential buyers a full picture.

Pros:

The overall sturdiness and stability of the mic stand, once properly set up, are commendable. It holds the microphone well and seems like it can withstand regular use without issue.
The portability and included carrying bag add a level of convenience for musicians or speakers on the go. This makes it an excellent option for those who need a reliable stand that can travel with them.

Cons:

The quality of the materials is passable, but my stand arrived with a defective part. The upper arm lacked the necessary threads to screw in the vertical part of the stand. This required manual intervention, which was both unexpected and time-consuming.
I rated the quality of material 3 stars due to this defective part. It's a reminder that sometimes trying to save money up front can lead to additional costs—in this case, the cost was my time and effort.

In conclusion, The "CAHAYA Dual-use Tripod Microphone Stand" is a product with potential, but the lack of attention to detail in quality control can lead to a frustrating setup experience. After resolving the issue, the stand functions as expected and does offer a good value for its price point. For future purchases, I’d consider spending a bit more for peace of mind and to save on the effort of troubleshooting.

It is easy to use and set up. Quality seems good - light, but not cheesy. I also like the case.
It is not heavy duty (the case) but fine if you take care of it. For the traveling musician, this is
a good set up.

The package was small for what I was expecting, but the product works very well. I assembled it in just a few minutes and it works for what we need it for. The only con was the connector for the microphone seems a little cheap. not sure if this will endure long useage, we shall see.

3.0 out of 5 stars CAHAYA Tripod Microphone Stand Boom Arm Floor Mic Stand with Carrying Bag and 2 Mic
Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2024
The CAHAYA Tripod Microphone Stand with Boom Arm is a budget-friendly option that gets the job done, but it comes with some noticeable drawbacks. On the plus side, it's lightweight and easy to assemble, and the included carrying bag is convenient for transport. The stand is fairly adjustable, and the boom arm provides decent reach. However, the build quality feels somewhat flimsy. The plastic components and lightweight metal give the impression that it might not withstand heavy use or accidental bumps. I also found that the stand isn't as stable as I'd hoped, especially when the boom arm is fully extended. The included microphones are basic and produce a decent sound for casual use, but they're nothing to write home about. Ultimately, this stand is a decent option for beginners or those on a tight budget, but if you're looking for durability and high-quality performance, you might want to consider investing in a more robust model.

So quality-wise it’s a perfectly decent stand for the price, not heavy duty, but gets the job done.

But man, I received my stand missing some knobs, and emailed them about it, they responed within 30 mins and sent me a full used mic stand which arrived 2 days later.

so now I have all the knobs, and duplicates of all of the parts, which is great in case anything happens.

Super happy with the resolution and ease of service.
