I recently purchased this Power Station to use for camping and outdoor use. The unit is really high quality for the price and is more than sufficient to charge your phone, use laptop and other portable devices. I wanted to get a unit where I wouldn't drain my truck battery and also have the ability to use small appliances such as a portable fan, portable cooler, small cooking units and anything else I might need that requires AC use. This unit was able to handle it for three continuous days of use.

I chose the VTOMAN over the Jackery because I really liked the design and over value of the unit. I think what drew me to it primarily was the light, that is much larger than other units on the market. The handle is also sturdy and in a good location for lifting the unit, that weighs a reasonable 15 pounds. I also liked the position of the AC outlets in the front and location of the USB ports for charging my wireless devices. It does take a long time to fully charge (8-12 hours), but for using items with small wattage requirements it gives you all the power you need. Amazon says it is gas powered, but that is an error because you either need to plug it into an AC outlet or can you buy the optional solar panels to charge it.

I did end up returning it because I ended up getting a larger power station capable of lasting longer and able to handle larger items for a longer period of time. It is much lighter in weight then the larger power stations and could be an option to hook up a trickle charger to your battery or for other emergency situations. But if you are looking for something to use sparingly or to charge your wireless devices while camping, then this is more than sufficient. It also is something you can use when the power goes out and be a great backup for your electrical needs in the garage when working on a project and don't want to use lengthy electrical cords.

I highly recommend this Power Station and this manufacture for your Power Backup needs.

I’ve owned this power station for a year now. It has functioned flawlessly and paired great to the eco-worthy 100w portable solar panel. The panel can charge 60w and under full sunlight can fully charge in about 5-6 hours. I like that the power station says exactly how many watts are being consumed or recharged. Some of the things I have powered: can run LED lights for about a day, can run a TV or mini fridge roughly 4-5 hours depending on size/power consumption, a standard laptop can run for about 6-7 hours.

Note, if you’re looking at these for the first time, keep in mind how many watts you need and how long you need them for. This unit has a 299 wh battery, so if you run 600 watts of power it will only have storage to maintain that level for half an hour. I now have an off grid cabin, so my only regret in hindsight was not buying the 1500 watt one to power tools, heater, etc.

I bought this unit on sale and the price/Amp hour was very reasonable. The technology in this field is changing very quickly and this unit may not be able to compare to the newer ones out now, but I was very pleased with the performance. I can run a small pancake compressor with it at max draw and it works very well. Low draw uses like charging laptops and phones last forever! I use it while disperse camping and it runs my small (700w draw) coffeemaker without any problems, even after charging my phone and laptop all night.
It's relatively easy to carry around and charges quickly. I particularly like the large number of fittings and adapters included.
One issue you should be aware of is that it will shut down/power down the outlet ports after a few hours of little to no voltage draw. This means you can't really use it to operate an intermittent-use appliance. It will depend on the cycle time whether it will work or not.
