Here in Massachusetts the bluebirds are back full swing, and we really enjoy watching them. They are great team workers. We think the worms keep them coming back each year, as they seem to love the worms. Actually a lot of birds eat these worms, which provide great nutrition. The bag is quite large and is durable. The price is right, which is great.

I am very happy with the mealworms. As many reviewers wrote, the bluebirds seem to be feeding on them all the time. Also a ground feeder that I am using the mealworms in are being enjoyed by the robins.

The price is almost half of what my feed store offers. I use to feed bluebirds and other song birds year round. It has attracted bluebirds to nest in my box for many years.

This is definitely a great price. (Live mealworms went thru the roof!) The most recent bag of these I bought has many empty shells included. Do dried worms dry out totally in a sealed bag? The last part of the previous bag also had many shells. I know the mealworms are dried but with so many empty shells the birds haven't been eating them or fighting over them since many are empty! I have new bluebird babies born really early this year on Apr 5th. I've been soaking some of the dry mealworms in water, then draining them for the babies. Birds won't eat them soggy.

Whole worm meal, dry, no smell. I soaked some to hydrate them in warm water and there was still no unpleasant smell ! Birds, love them!! good quality also.
