The lawn upon which this product was applied had become infested with moles and the ornamental plants in and around lawn have been, for a few years, infested with Beetles el Nippon.
For several years a product, it turns out to have been a less functional product, available at the local big-box had been used with no success. Although, that product was labeled as a grubicide.
This product was applied late summer of 2023 and again in the early summer of 2024. It has, apparently been doing precisely what it claims to do...get those grubs.
The lawn has held up better through the heat of the summer; the moles are gone, and there were areas in the lawn upon which it felt as if one were walking on a mattress, and the attendant ornamentals have fared much better because of the reduced Japanese Beetle populationIn short, this stuff worked very well for this user and this user intends to apply it on an annual basis in the future.

provides good results as long as you water it in deeply and often. best if applied in mid to late may or late july

It's difficult to know if a product such as GrubEx works or not. I did not notice a grub problem this year although I didn't go looking for it either. Once in a while I would give a hunk of grass a tug and it never was loose so no grub problem there. In past years I paid my landscaper to do a grub treatment and I had no grubs then either. The only issue I had this year was my Scott's Wiz handheld spreader got stuck and stopped working a couple times. But even that could just be the cheap spreader, not the GrubEx. At one point while fighting with the spreader, it suddenly let out a big bunch of GrubEx where I was standing and about 6 weeks later, the grass started to die in that very spot. By the end of the summer, that small area was as dead as a door nail, not only no grass but not even a weed. So be careful not to spread more than the bag indicates. I should have vacuumed some of it up or something.
UPDATE THE FOLLOWING SPRING: I thought the patch of grass where I spilled a pile of GrubEx was done for but this Spring, the grass is coming back slowly but surely. I never would have thought that area would ever have even one blade of grass but it is slowly filling in. Kudos, GrubEx.

If you have grubs, make sure you use this every season. I skipped one season and my lawn was destroyed this year. Price is right and it's delivered.
