This rainproof, sunblock and snowproof cloth is of good quality, a little thick and comfortable to feel. It has been used for a while, since it has not encountered rainy weather, so its waterproof effect has not been verified, but I think it is very good, because the fabric feels like rainproof material. The only thing is it's a little big, but luckily there's a tightening line under it, so it shouldn't leak in, but everything else is fine.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great space saver!

I know I can just leave my snowblower outside and it will be OK, but I paid good money and snowblowers aren't cheap. However, I also did not like it taking up so much room in my shed. So when I found this, it was just the solution I needed. The material is truly waterproof and the drawstring helps keep leaves out, but not so much critters as they can force their way under. The tags underneath make it easy to position and really that's all there is to it. A quick winterization and it's ready for next season, if we see any snow.

5.0 out of 5 stars Allows me to leave my snow blower outside without worry

I don't have a lot of room in my garage, and was storing my snow blower in a little utility shed. But it's awkwardly shaped and takes up a lot of room.

I wanted to give the machine some type of protection so decided to give the iBirdie snow blower cover a try.

First thing I'll say is that I have a gas powered snow blower and the electric snow blower cover did fit on it. So I would highly recommend actually measuring your snow blower before deciding to purchase based only on the name of the product.

While I did have a little bit of trouble originally putting the cover on, I found that if you do the handle first it gives you enough slack to cover the motor and housing of the machine. Then a quick pull on the cinch cable at the bottom and your snow blower is ready to hibernate.

The weather has been crazy over here recently. In the last few days we've had torrential rain, snow, hail, and tomorrow an eclipse! (I'm not sure if that counts as weather) And this cover has held up to it all. I am very happy that my snow blower is safe, and I have my shed back! It's a win win.

5.0 out of 5 stars Keeps your snow blower protected from lots of things

It's a snowblower. It's designed to be used IN bad weather, right? What are we trying to protect it from???
Saw dust.
Spray paint dusting.
Dust.
We store our snowblower under the deck in off season and in the garage during the winter. But, during the winter, my husband - who is always cutting wood with saws - closes the door and covers my entire garage with saw dust.
So, i have started getting covers for EVERYTHING.
Two weeks ago, when that huge storm hit the nation with snow and artic temps? My husband got really sick and had to sit out snow-clearing. No problem, I have adult sons who know how to use the snowblower and I can throw a mean shovel of snow.
I went to get the snowblower out and check the gas, and found it was covered with a thick layer of saw dust.
I had to ask myself if that wasn't an issue for a very expensive machine that relies up clean air intake, lol.
Sure, I was able to clean off the sawdust and we dealt with the snow.
But I decided to order a cover, not just for winter but also when it goes under the deck. We cover it with a tarp, and that usually works, but it would be nice to have a fitted cover that is secured to the machine itself, and not held in place with straps secured to posts and such. Plus, when a tarp is covering five things, you're less likely to dig out one thing if it means uncovering the five things. I'd like to start having individual covers for each item, for just that reason.
When we got this, I took it outside and covered the snowblower. It fit perfectly. I smiled at myself and went inside. Two days later, i went to the garage and saw everything was covered with a fine layer of sawdust. Including the snowblower.
It was nice to just walk by, not bothered by the knowledge that there was sawdust on that very expensive piece of equipment, lol.
The material is pretty thick and heavy duty. I feel confident using it to cover the snowblower outside during off season. It's waterproof, and water does bead up on it.
The seam work is tight and well-done, no loose spots where water can get through.
There's a drawstring cinch at the bottom, to tighten it around the machine, to prevent blowing off. Come summer, I'll make sure to wrap it under the machine, to really ensure it doesn't lift and blow off during a storm.
it's simple, not fancy features.
But, it's a cover for a snowblower. It's got one job: Cover the snowblower. And it does that perfectly.

It's a great cover. Fits my ariens 23" snowblower. Heavy duty enough to repel the weather. Obviously this won't keep pests out, but it will keep your machine dry if you don't have indoor storage for it. Feels like good, heavy duty material. Seams are sturdy. I have no reason to think this won't last a while.
