- Linda LeonardNOISY! Continual high pitched whirring noise!DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!! I so regret it. I read the reviews and they were mostly good but two comments proved to be very true. I bought this anyway because most of the reviews were good but it proved to be a mistake. It's so annoying that the wooden shelves do not pull out very far and the slats for the wine bottles are narrower than most wine bottles so the bottles do not fit into the slats as you would expect. The deal breaker for me though is the constant high pitched whirring noise that is continually emitted from the unit. It is in our main living area and it drives me crazy. My husband is 76 so he cannot hear it but I can and it's awful. I previously had a unit from HISENSE and it was half the price of this one but so much better! No noise at all, better light features and the wooden shelves easily pulled out and pushed back in with no catching. The bottles fit perfectly. I have REGRETS buying this.
- Tom BSolid purchase - nice coolerI spent a long time researching wine coolers and reading reviews - this is what I ended up purchasing to meet our needs and so far (in service for only 2 weeks) I'm very pleased. Definitely make sure you let it rest for 1-2 days following shipping. Instructions tell you this but I'm underscoring the importance. This lets the refrigerant and oil settle before turning it on.
The Good:
Sturdy construction - she thick. 100lbs empty though...so keep that in mind. Unless youre a very large man you'll need 2 people to move it very far. The description is accurate but I've actually found you can fit MORE bottles than advertised - we use the bottom rack ("floor") for an additional 7 champagne bottles where they say only 6 should fit (see my picture). I don't think this will fit magnums or long bottles but all standard and Burgundy/Bordeaux bottles fit fine. Champagne/sparkling must go on the top rack or bottom - will not fit on most racks which works fine for us but maybe not for you. Not a design flaw in my view just a reality. Shelves are fully removable but not adjustable. Again, fine for us but maybe not for you. Given their spacing I don't see a need for adjustment though so good job on the design. This is a big boy cooler and acts like it. Good temp distribution but obviously the bottom rack is a bit cooler (2-3 degrees F variance between top and bottom I think, my set point is 53).
Suggestions for Improvement:
Wish the door had a UV film on it but otherwise its a nice design. Wood racks are a bit unfinished/cheaper feeling but work fine. Can always sand and finish later. I dont love having to remove the insulation stripping to install the handle but I understand it.

Only been a few weeks now but I'm very pleased.... - LindaGeeBeautiful and functionalWe've only had this dual zone wine cooler for a couple of months, but so far we are very pleased with it. The packaging was excellent; in fact it was difficult to get it out, but a small price to pay for a well protected fridge. The lighting is really pretty, the wood shelves are a nice quality, the temperatures seem to be accurate, and it holds quite a bit of wine. What's not to like? Oh, it's also quiet, which is a plus since it's in our eating area. So far no problems, we really like it and the price is much better than many other brands that offer dual temps and a built-in look. Great product for the money!
- Jack WColder than settingsLooks nice and seems sturdy, . …buuuut, it does not accurately control the temperature. I spent weeks emailing with tech support to determine if my unit was defective because the temperature was measuring anywhere between 5 and 10 degrees colder than the settings in both zones. They just kept asking me to move the thermometer to different locations, to no avail.
I decided to keep it after they offered a partial refund.

After a few months and starting my collection after a first visit to Napa, I want to love this product but it’s very frustrating. It was my first purchase and researched many models before settling with this. I buy fairly expensive bottles $150-200 per on average and didn’t want to get some cheap junk but didn’t feel it was necessary to spend thousands either. The problem is what others have said about the shelves. They aren’t very functional. They don’t pull out enough and they don’t glide smoothly. The slats on each shelf are out of alignment or something. No matter what bottle size not even the most narrow bottle will allow me to fill a shelf 5 across without cramming in and then being stored all crooked. When you use the back shelf with 4 across in front it makes the bottles crooked and drives me crazy. The fridge looks really nice but I look forward to getting something else and making this a backup for my whites. The capacity is ideal more for like 25-30 bottles with 4 across each shelf in front. if you want to have any type of organized collection and need 50+ then I’d look elsewhere.
