The yarn is shrink wrapped and fluffs right up. You could toss it in dryer 2 minutes on delicate to fluff if needed. This pack I didn’t need to.

- Ruth McDonaldVery affordable, fluffy but also doesn't fuse as well as other brandsFirst off, I would buy this again because for under $30, you get 8 skeins of yarn which is very reasonable. The yarn is FLUFFY and soft. The color is accurate, and it's easy to knit with. It's fluffy but not overly heavy. The reason I took away one star is because the yarn doesn't separate as well as other brands and when I would fuse together the ends, there are thinner areas of the skein that made it harder to fuse solidly.

- Z MurrayNice yarn.Great yarn. Met my expectations, didn’t shed a lot. Thicker than others I have found. I would say it is very comparable to purchases made at big box stores. I didn’t come across a bunch of knots in the skeins. I have not tried to wash the blanket yet but wash in cold and without fabric softener and I do not expect any issues.
- BootsBeware of knots.Despite what the description claims, 6/8 skeins had multiple knots where they had tied two separate pieces together, which I don’t mind but I know some may. 8 skeins made a blanket just slightly smaller than a traditional throw, I’d recommend ordering 10-12 skeins instead. Anytime I’d tie a new skein, the loose bits would snap off extremely easily. The forest green color was vibrant and the yarn is soft and quite heavy. I washed the blanket inside a wash bag on the gentle wash cycle and I dried it on low, it held up perfectly. Overall, I’m happy with the product given the price.
- DeBOverall quality but inconsistentI ordered quite a few 8 packs of this Cozyful yarn in various colors. I do enjoy the usually soft feel of this yarn and its weight. I did not experience any issues with the flame fusing that other reviewers expressed. On average, this yarn is of good quality but is inconsistent. There was about 10% of the total that had flaws. Some skeins had knots joining two ends in the middle of the skein, some had areas not fully ‘flecked’ with the center of the tread 1/2 exposed, and some skeins with sharp, what felt like plastic, protruding from the thread’s center (maybe the center cord frayed or not fully rounded off?). As far as the accuracy of the order, I had to request a replacement for one 8 pack of the sky blue color. It was clearly labeled as ‘sky blue’ but was obviously the ‘cream’ color. The cream sells for less than sky blue. When the replacement package arrived, it was also not sky blue but cream and again labeled ‘sky blue’. The package appeared to already be a return since it was packaged a bit different than other orders. Had to return it for the second time and just request a refund. We will see how long it takes to get the refund.
