- Darline HeatleyLove this book!I am a long-time fan of Kenny's, and I am truly enjoying listening to him tell his story. As someone who is a dedicated fan starting in the early days of his career, I remember, or was aware of, many of the events he tells about, but I didn't know the behind-the-scenes details. I find hearing those details both interesting and fun! I have laughed out loud several times so far, and I have relived my own memories of the fun times I had with my friends over the years of going to see Kenny. If you are a fan, you will enjoy this book; if you aren't but are interested in the music business, you will like this book, if you just want to know how/why he had become a super star, you will like this book!
- CBrumleyExcellent book, a must have for fans.Great book. Kenny Chesney's music was a big part of my life from 2000-10. Then life was a blur but i have been revisiting and getting reacquainted with his stuff since then. This is a great story of his journey and an easy read. I couldn't put the book down.

- cariadsamGood but lacking photo descriptionsJust received and started reading it. So far so good, however I am confused and disappointed as to why there are no captions connected to the black and white photos that appear on many of the pages? The three glossy color photo sections interspersed through the book do have descriptions of what they are and who is in them, but these other photos have nothing!? Very odd, or did I receive a bad copy? The rights and attributions section in the back only tells who owns the rights to the photos. I have never seen this in any other book, as I said, good stuff so far but this aspect is very disappointing.
- Robert H.Great book!I have been a fan of Kenny Chesney for a long time so I was glad to get to read his book about how he rose to stardom. The book is very well written and a pleasure to read. It is very interesting to find out how he made his rise through country music. The book details his work ethic, determination and love of music. While reading the book I found it enhancing to listen to the songs he talks about in his book which gave me a different perspective of the song after reading how and why it was written. I highly recommend Heart Life Music!
