- Ruggs2402Must Have!!This nipple butter is amazing, it really helped to keep my girlies healthy while nursing. There is very faint natural fragrance that I liked and it definitely helped keep my nipples from cracking and bleeding during the first months of nursing.
It is also all natural, and I have since used it as chapstick, paw balm, and a salve for cracked skin! It has been a life saver in the first few days postpartum. The best part is not having to wash it off before feedings! I could not recommend this product more in terms of effectiveness. My nipples were becoming dry and sore due to the new activity and applying this salve after each feed has almost improved my nipples overnight. Another pro is being able to use this highly moisturizing cream as a convenient chapstick in the middle of the night!
In terms of the smell, it almost has a very organic/natural chocolate smell - similar to cocoa powder! It can be a little greasy feeling at first, but it washes off with no issues at all.

- ViPMust buy for moms!A must for breastfeeding or pumping moms! I actually love the smell (sort of reminds me of chocolate?) and the texture is quite smooth. It definitely softens more with heat, so be sure to rub it between your fingers. I put it on after every pump and has saved me from sensitivity/pain. A great purchase!
- Rachel Corlewthe absolute BEST!!! could not recommend this enough!!ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! It totally saved me during breastfeeding. It is super hydrating, the smell is minimal. Its safe for babys to ingest which gave my me huge peace of mind. Its almost like a green, but rubs on clear, works immediately. I would sleep with it on/put it on right after nursing. The one bottle i had lasted for about 3 months and i was using it every day!

- Nathan and AddieHydrating, smells good, and actually absorbs into your skin!Because of the ingredients like cocoa butter and shae butter, it smells faintly like chocolate which is a HUGE win in my book over the scent of lanolin. Unlike how thick, sticky, and hard to wipe off lanolin can be, this nipple butter (while still greasy at first) rubs into the skin and does not leave me feeling like I need a shower after every application. It also leaves my skin noticeably soft AND it has helped my nipples tremendously this go-around since I've been pretty exclusively pumping. I have nipple trauma from my last breastfeeding/pumping excursion (14 years ago we didn't know as much about flange sizes and how to pump without it hurting as we do now, especially since I live in a smaller town with MAYBE one lactation consultant) and this nipple butter has helped with the traumatized and wounded skin so much. It can't heal it, obviously, but by making sure I apply this to it before each pump it not only soothes and hydrates the skin, but it acts as a lubricant for the pump flange so it doesn't pull and damage the skin further.
I would say I'd buy it again, but I'm already on my second pot of it so I guess it's obvious I would! - MarcyMy Favorite Pumping/BF Companion! ????When I first started out pumping and breastfeeding I had a really rough time. From wrong sized flanges, to my baby poorly latching and me not knowing how to safely unlatch them… the girls went through a lot. I was so sore that I would be wincing, lightly bleeding at times and in tears during pumping/feeding. I dreaded a time that used to be/should’ve been used soaking up to bond more with my baby.
I tried other nipple butters but I found them difficult to work with because they were extremely thick and goopy. Although they hydrated “well enough”, they weren’t anything to rave home about… they made any clothes I wanted to wear after a sticky mess and at times, permanently stained. They caked onto my flanges and made them extremely difficult to clean (having to scrub/soak 3-4x as often as usual). Due to the issues with consistency they made me hesitant to put them on prior to breastfeeding my baby causing me to likely not apply enough and defeating the purpose of a nipple butter.
Then I remembered one of my mom friends actually gifted me a nipple butter in a post partum kit she made me. This was the nipple butter she included and from first use it was an absolute GAME CHANGER. I wish I knew I had this sooner, it would’ve saved me a lot of pain and grief. If you’re hesitating, this is the ONE. ????
