- Trevor PaloneGreat Quality, True Blackout, and Stylish TooI’m really impressed with these NICETOWN blackout curtains. I got the 42x63 size for my bedroom, and they fit perfectly. The material feels thick and durable but still soft to the touch — not that cheap, plastic-like feel some blackout curtains have.
They block out nearly all light, even during the middle of the day. I work nights sometimes, and these make it so much easier to sleep in. They also help a lot with temperature control — the room stays warmer in winter and cooler in summer, which is a nice bonus.
The grommets make them super easy to hang, and they slide smoothly on the curtain rod. I also love how neat and modern they look — simple but elegant.
Overall, these are excellent curtains for the price. If you’re looking for blackout panels that actually work and add a bit of polish to your room, I definitely recommend them. - john mixA must have in the kids room!These are great quality, they are jet black, insulated and thick. Zero light will get through these things. Super high quality for a great price! We are putting these in the kids room which will help with light and well people that peep.
- Trina1008Over all a good productThese curtains have got to be the best curtains I have ever had. They are super easy to put up and they completely blackout the whole room so it looks like night. They fit and look perfect and the softness is also a plus. The thickness of the curtain seems to help block out the cold at night as well.
- GlitchzigA revised reviewI have had to return several of these curtains and chose to repurchase this same brand for all of my windows except my bedroom. For my bedroom these are simply not total blackouts- I purchased black for my bedroom and in the daytime most of the light comes in around the curtain rod but also the curtains are not 100% light blocking. I recommend if 100% blackout is important to you (it is to me) consider additional help such as shades under your curtain or look for a curtain with s really good, 100% blackout liner in another brand. These curtains are made of a nice material and look nice in a room, with many color selections at a good price, but are not 100% blackout. Also I recommend carefully selecting a curtain rod designed to help stop light at the top.
One other issue I had was the length not reaching where I measured, as the length is stated. I did measure from my curtain rod height for accuracy.
Aside from that, I have another tip, the curtains drape better and look better if you order in a width that is DOUBLE your window width. For my wider windows I learned to get the 100W patio panels in the correct length and order 2 for one window. It looks so much better. For any window, a width double to your window hangs so much better and darkens better not pulled so straight, with the length barely brushing the floor, this looks better than too-short curtains. Unless you are doing a special window like a kitchen or bathroom window, floor length looks better than coming up short.
With all of that said, except for needing to go to a different brand for 100% blackout for my bedroom, once I worked these issues out and returned a set where the length seemed to be inaccurate, I am happy with the quality of these curtains for most rooms in my home. They look nice when they fit properly, drape well at double the width of the window or as close as you can get to double your window width with 2 panels (aim for 1 panel being the size of your window width fully extended, then hang 2 of that size panel and they will drape nice as well as look good open). The fabric is nice, the wrinkles fall out, and I like that you can wash them. I like the color selection and when the measurements are accurate they are great. I’m assuming I got an off batch.
Very good curtains except for my bedroom because I need 100% blackout. They do darken the room a lot, but I need a darker daytime blackout in full sun. I’m keeping the curtains I bought for my bedroom but I plan to replace them at some point soon- and AGAIN- my bedroom panels FIT, they are wider than my window but I feel that the extra width I chose is not enough, I feel strongly that I should have ordered double the width of my window. I can’t stress this enough- if you don’t like flat looking curtains, order your total panels you plan to hang whether it’s 1 or 2 or more, to equal DOUBLE the width of your window. Make sure the length is correct, and doubling the width will always look good.
I feel that these are nice looking curtains at a good value, but not 100% blackout. I will buy this brand again, just not for my bedroom where full blackout is essential. - AmelmahayBest Blackout Curtains I've Tried So FarI purchased some beige panels for one room and was very pleased with the quality and thickness of the materials used. It blocks out light very well with only the most minute specks of light shining through on close inspection when in direct sunlight. It is very tightly woven fabric. So when it came time to replace the curtains in a different room, I purchased these again in Navy Blue and am equally pleased. I wanted to get blinds to block out the light and then curtains to go over top because that is what I was replacing, but it's nearly impossible to find quality blinds anymore. Out of frustration, I threw in the towel and went with just blackout curtains. Again, I am thrilled with these and so happy I didn't waste money on blinds. These work better than blinds combined with regular non-blackout curtains. I washed as recommended before hanging them, and they are perfect. They don't require any ironing, which is a huge bonus. They are soft and smooth to touch, like microfiber. I've snagged a sharp fingernail edge on them a few times without leaving a pulled thread, which is also surprising. Very happy with the simple design and quality materials and workmanship. I will buy these again for the next room where I need replacement panels.

- JessicaWill be buying more!These are soo much softer and silkeier than I imagined. Super cute color! These are true black out curtains. No light peaks through which is nice but also not nice if you need to get up. Helps if you have a little and they need to nap in the middle of the day.
- Bryan ObandoIt work pretty goodThse are very nice and quality material. I would not go as far as they are Darkening as it does let light in and does not block out light like true black out curtains. I have them in three different room and they work very well.
