- LadiKEXCELLENT PRODUCT!This was so easy to use & excellent quality product. I had no trouble installing these myself and they fit perfectly. Great draft protection and sealed my doors well. Super pleased with the quality of this product. Would not hesitate to purchase this again.
- MitchA great product and just used today and was easy to trim and install! This weather door stripping works perfectly! It sealed up the gaps around my door and made a huge difference in keeping out drafts, dust, and noise. The material is flexible yet durable, and it sticks firmly once applied. Installation was super easy—just measure, cut, and press into place. It gives my door a nice, clean look and helps with energy efficiency too. Great quality for the price—definitely recommend for anyone wanting to weatherproof their home!
- Sydney SummersExcellent stuff - no more drafts for me!This weather stripping made SUCH a difference and was so easy to install! I had quite a gap between my door and the frame, so this thicker stripping was necessary and absolutely perfect. In Minnesota, the winter breeze is no joke. I could feel it rushing in before this weather stripping. Now there are absolutely no drafts or lights slipping through the cracks! It's been installed for a little over a year now and, and it's got a lot of life left in it. My mother used a similar type of stripping and it's still going strong 10 years later. There's no adhesive either, it just squeezes in between the wood so it's super easy to put up and take down, and the bendability makes it a dream to work with.
- David-GeorgiaGapGood quality and easy install just watch the gap I have to get bigger as it still lets air in.
- Evereddie70Looks great, works great, easy peasy.Perfect fit. I pulled the weather stripping from two doors and installed this. Less than ten minutes per door. Easy to remove old, easy to install the new, looks great and works great. Excellent value.
- AdamFits great and seals better than the originalThis fits perfectly and works exactly like I hoped. The seal is actually better than the original material I had before, which was a nice surprise. Simple to install, no fuss, and does the job right. Sometimes replacements feel a little cheap compared to factory parts, but this one actually feels like an upgrade.
- Gentle ReaderWhat an easy, satisfying project!I'm so happy that I took this project on, it was incredibly easy. I wasn't familiar with the Kerf type installation, so looked at a youtube video for about a minute before I realized there's nothing to it. First step is removing the old, and it takes a little bit of patience to get the end of the old stuff initially out of the groove, but using a small flat tool and some needle nosed plyers, it was pretty intuitive how to get it pried out of there. Once started, it's just a matter of pulling the old stuff free, measuring the new (I used the old as a template, but left it a tiny bit long, just in case, then snipped off the excess at the end). To install, it's truly as simple as pushing the new seal into place by sliding the.tab into the slot. Press firmly, done. I only had one spot where the new seal didn't want to slide in easily, but I just removed it, slid my putty knife along the door groove in that spot to make sure nothing was blocking it. It didn't even seem like anything had been removed, but on the second try the seal slipped right in to the slot as it's supposed to. I did the front and back doors in less than 20 minutes.. The product does look bent and a little crinkly when you first take it out of the package, but it smooths right out and looks normal as soon as you install it. As for being too big or small -- it's neither. It matched what I took out exactly, so it was just right for the job when installed. The doors look great now, and it's probably the easiest home maintenance project I've ever taken on.
- CABsterEasy to install but flattens too easilyI have a 30 year old door with 20 year old weather stripping. Although the old weather stripping still looked ok, I figured it could be time to get new ones. These fit into the door channels just fine but the padding is much thinner than the old ones. Also after a few days, the padding was compressed quite a bit to where there was too much give on the closed door when pushed. The push test is something anyone can use to see just how tight the door is to the frame. Closed the door, then push against the door near the door frame. If it bounces a bit, or a lot, then a thicker stripping is needed to increase the weather proofing. Luckily I kept the old ones to put back in. Double check that the gap in your door isn’t much and these should work. Also double check the channel to make sure these will fit.
