- StephanieToo awesome!I'm not in the medical field but I'm always wanting to learn new things and be prepared. This kit is exactly what I wanted to practice stitches on. The silicone pad is durable and a good quality, all of the items that come with the kit are excellent and functional. I love the tools, they work so smoothly, are a perfect size and very comfortable to use. This is a great value for your money and will keep you busy practicing! I highly recommend this product, it's very cool! I basically tortured the silicone pad with putting in and removing stitches until my hands hurt - I'm going to keep working on my stitches until they are perfect!

The product is really good. It’s tough and strong. Be advised,The needles are very SHARP so you must be careful. The Hemostats, Kelly’s and driver equipment is compatible to what I use in the emergency department to perform sutures.
The only drawback is, when you insert the needle, the silicone is a little harder than real life, but that’s expected with an engineering product. - SYLGreat for beginnersThis kit packs a lot for the price! You get a solid set of tools and tons of different sutures to practice with. The rubber "skin" pad comes with a mesh layer at the top so it can be reused. It really can't be used for any buried-type stitches though. Only the superficial mesh layer can hold stitches, if you attempt to do anything deeper, the rubber WILL tear. The rubber also picks up every piece of dirt and hair possible. This isn't a major issue since you can just rinse/wipe it, but just be aware
The included tools seem solid and have held up with use. I've seen some reviews saying the forceps are hard to use because it has teeth at the end, making it more difficult to grab things. However, this is what we use in real life surgeries; toothed forceps may have a steeper learning curve, but they're more true to what you'll get in the hospital.

- DawnGreat practice kit!!I bought this suture practice kit for my son to use. He was in need to practice for college. The texture of the “skin” I felt was excellent for practice! The sutures and the practice wounds were also great for the practice he needs. This was easy to use, the only downfall is there aren’t instructions on how to do it. But we easily found videos on you tube that helped us! The kit itself is large enough to cover several wounds to practice but small enough for easy storage and transport. It comes in a great storage case as well! The price was good compared to other websites we searched!

It’s very durable as long as you take big bites and don’t put too much tension in the suture. The only thing I’d add is a booklet or QR code that leads to suture videos for beginners! I did search the patterns on YouTube but having it all in one place would be convenient!
