Instead of providing a separate on-off switch, the unit requires you to turn the dial from the off position to the desired unit, having to click through all of those you're not using. Not just inconvenient, but puts added wear on the dial mechanism, shortening life span. But I suppose for the low cost you can overlook this. Otherwise, I'm quite satisfied with its performance/
