For the price, this is a steal! If you’re looking for an affordable and attractive floor lamp, you can’t go wrong with this model.
(It’s recommended that you not exceed 60w lightbulbs for the lamp, so I used a 60w. It lights the area in my bedroom very well. Great coverage!) - Brittany BurfieldGreat lampHighly recommend. Does the job illuminating my room. Took 30 seconds to build. Nice and sturdy. Stable. Inexpensive but quality materials. Lamp shade I used to replace it with didn’t fit on the lamp which is ok. I’ll try another one. Also I didn’t use the shade that came with it. I did however end up using the base for the that came with it. I’m very pleased with this purchase regardless.

- Sunny DayDecent for the price. Solid heavy base and metal poles. Plastic clip on shade with VelcroReally not that bad for the price. Two things really do not care for are 1) the Vinyl - plastic shade that clips on the rings and held together at the seams by Velcro. 2) the cheap plastic foot switch to power On/Off the lamp which will most likely be the first item that breaks if stepped on too hard or the switch will fail. If available in your home is a wall light switch that operates a wall outlet, this way leave the lamp foot switch powered to ON and just use the Light and or Dimmer Switch on the Wall to turn it Off/On. The base is the heaviest item and solid. Takes 10 to 15 minutes to assemble, no tools required other than a knife to cut and remove the saran wrap from the individual pole segments before assembly. Stands at 5 foot tall or 60.5 inches. Looks good as I purchased the Gold (appears more brass/ less gold tone because it is not bright and shiny) against an off-white/egg shell/beige wall. If Velcro fails to hold the shade together as time passes by you can tape it or try stapling.

- MelindaGreat Light, Inexpensive, Highly AttractiveAfter many decades of living in homes, I'm in an apartment. It's nice, but at night, it seems a bit too dark. I bought these for that reason, and they work great. They add needed light in the living room, bedroom and dining room. I like the foot controls, too. Very easy to use, instead of fumbling for an on-off switch somewhere around the lamp shade.

- SardonickKinda cheap, but worksThe lamp shade is what detracts from an otherwise good effort. It's cheap plastic and snaps onto a ring, then closes on one side with velcro. Just cheap and chintzy. The lamp stem is decently quality and the base seems heavy enough to be sturdy. If they paid more attention to the lampshade, this would be a nice lamp. As it is, it's only really good for guest rooms or kids rooms.
