- Michael L.Good value, works as intended.So far so good. I have this sitting on the hood of an 81 Toyota pickup for the past 3 weeks in Phoenix. It has dealt with the heat no problem, made it through two thunderstorms, and has kept the battery topped up. I usually start the truck once every weekend, and let it run for an hour or so to charge, so this saves me the trouble. Easy to use, plug and play essentially, just stuck it to the hood, and ran the wires through the front grille. For as inexpensive as it is, it has held up well. Indicator light is difficult to see during the day, but works properly. And most importantly it has not overcharged, or discharged the battery.

It worked great, it hadn't run for a couple months and it fired right up. I like the size and how well it worked, I ordered 5 more. The only thing that could make this better is a pigtail that bolts on to the battery also.

Worked flawless, do I purchased another for a different camera wired it the exact same way and light on the solar panel is always red never switching to green. The second solar panel must be defective.
