- Melvina LegerGreat quality with no messI ordered these bird seeds because I enjoying feeding the birds that come into my yard. It is definitely waste free. The birds are able to eat all of the seeds with no shells left behind. These seeds do not make a mess in my yard and for that I am grateful. The birds appear to enjoy the seeds as I have several birds to visit my bird feeder to include blue rays, Cardinals, and occasionally a woodpecker. The seeds has a nice earthy smell and it is very easy to store and pour inside the bird feeder container. The color of the seeds are tan with other color seeds mixed in which is probably another reason the birds may be drawn to the food. I enjoy watching the birds enjoy this food. I would definitely recommend this product for all wild bird lovers.

They are birds and unconcerned about tidiness, so some of the food does fall on the ground. However, it biodegrades quickly and/or is easy to sweep up.

- G WizNothing eats the corn?The birds seem to like this seed. That is to say, they eat it, with an exception. As far as I can tell, NOTHING eats the corn. Unless the birds are extremely particular about which corn kernels they eat and eating just the tastiest ones, none of it gets eaten. That's all that's left when the feeder is empty. If I leave the feeder empty long enough some of the corn eventually goes, but it might just be getting kicked on the ground and the squirrels eat it. I have a majority of the supposed birds that eat corn listed on the bag too. (I also mix in some suet nuggets and the bluebirds, tufted titmouses, and, surprisingly, the red belly woodpeckers really go nuts for them.)
None of these no mess seeds are really "no mess" just a lot less. You still end of needing to clean the remains from the feeder regularly, but it's nowhere near as bad as sunflower seeds, etc. It's not a "5" but good enough for me to keep buying it, for now anyway. If they had the same thing with no corn I'd buy that instead. - BoodooBag had a hole in itI love the birdseed and that it gets delivered to me, but when I took the one bag out, it was already opened and it spilled all over the carton. I’m not returning it, but I just thought you should know.

Does attract a variety of birds. Finches, sparrows, juncos, chickadees, etc. HOWEVER, definitely the messiest seed I’ve ever had in the feeder. Everyday I had a pile of seed and seed carcass all over the patio. Since there was so much on the ground and not always possible to keep clearing, we also got more squirrels, and a mouse.
