- Jane BHighly Highly Recommend!Super happy with this disk! Lost access to the Administrative password and locked up my computer. I took my tower to a repair shop where I was told that due to some encryption issues they were unable to unlock my computer, and that they had even called Dell directly and were told the same thing. I had already purchased this disk by that time, so I figured 'what the heck, I'll give it a try' - and SURPRISE I was able to get in and remove the password requirement. It was a bit more evolved than that, but the end result was that I can use my computer again! I highly recommend this disk if you need access to a locked up computer. I am no genius - I know just enough to get around, but no coding or scripts, or anything and it was a piece of cake!
- NealWon't work on older 32-bit processors (e.g. Windows Vista 32-bit)Simply wouldn't work.. I have a Toshiba Satellite P105-S6147 with Windows Vista and Intel Pentium Dual Core T2060 1.6 GHz processor.
When inserting the CD into the drive and setting it to boot from the CD-ROM a Blue Square Windows logo appears on the screen for a long time, and the CD-ROM drive activity light is active. Eventually I am presented with a blue error screen which says:
"Recovery Your PC/Device needs to be repaired. This 64-bit application couldn't load because your PC doesn't have a 64-bit processor....
File: \windows\sytem32\boot\winload.exe
Error code: 0xc000035a"
If I remove the CD and boot from the hard drive everything starts normally, and I am presented with the login screen and the account for which I have forgotten my password..
Seller's website is no longer active, and the email they provide on the instruction card goes un-answered. Attempts to contact via Amazon went unanswered well.

Note- there are no instructions or help in using the disk if you cannot trouble shoot on your own using the disk then you may want another product. but if you can manage on your own, it should work.
- Edwin A. BrizuelaNot value for what it is.They provide a piece of paper with an email. Some have already uploaded a picture for that. Overall I can say that this CD only have a compilation of already free software out there to troubleshoot your computer. The difference is that they will boot into a windows environment so you can run them from them. But it won’t really fix some of the issues, some are just so you can run them from the CD, others won’t even open because you need to but the premium software. This is not a CD with a software that will help you fix your computer. I ended up making a bootable CD from my laptop on a USB and I was able to work around that. The CD, not worth my money, there is some website that explains how to use it, but it’s no brainer.
- inspectorrickIt never fully rebooted my hard-drive to a workable state.I'm sure this will work on minor problems, but on a system that while the files show as being all there, but the boot system will not work, this disk only gives a partial boot, and not one that I can work with to try to fix, or overcome the problems.
- Lisa KratzDoes No Good if you have a missing operating system or Windows files.It didn't help me with fixing a computer, that's why I bought it. It gets you to the point of being able to get to a screen to restore to a previous version of windows if you still have the windows files. You can restore the version of windows you have now if you still have the files. You can also start from command prompt. I had missing Windows files so the CD was a waste of time & my $$$.
