However, the interface was not as smooth, making it difficult to perform basic operations without looking at the users manual or querying the web for instructions. This tool is very user-friendly and the features that I needed for a standard operations are clearly visible and easily accessible with a right click on the image. Looking back I should’ve purchased this seven years ago as it easily performs the competitors products.
- DeboMy favorite photo and video editing tool hands down!I was so excited when the 2026 version of PowerDirector got released. I have been a loyal user of PD since I started my YouTube channel years ago! I tried other software’s, but they didn’t have all the features I needed and it helped me get monetized a few years ago and I’ve never looked back. What I love about PowerDirector is the minimal learning curve, and not having to watch hours of videos to figure it out. It’s extremely intuitive and user-friendly, more functions than you will ever need. It can handle long form or short form videos for TikTok, Reels, Facebook, and YouTube. Every release has better and better enhancements, including the new AI features like adding/ removing an object into your footage. Bonus: it makes editing fun!

I don’t have a desktop at this time, so unfortunately, I am not able to provide a comprehensive review. However, I can say that the box arrived in a timely manner and was shrink-wrapped to ensure the integrity of the product key. - kayak58Works great, no issues so far.I have used previous versions of Cyberlink PowerDirector and just replaced my 9 year old PC and I wanted to upgrade to the current version of the software. So far it has been great. I'm just a casual user and there are many functions that I may never use, but at least they are there as I learn more about it's features.
- ShotoIncorrect download directionsThe software would not load. The screen gave an error message to "load the cd". This was an online download, there is no cd.
