- Amazon CustomerHighest setting is warmer than Hot Hands. Comes with a dual charging cordI love these hand warmers!
I bought these just in time to use at my kids outdoor sports games this Fall. The charge lasts for at least 4 hours (I didn't time it but it made it through 2 youth football games and then some) The dual charging cord is a major plus, I use them both so charging at the same time is a big time saver and having the USB end makes it easy to charge in my vehicle if I need to.
These are good quality and they work great. These warmers fit perfect in my palms. The heat range is just right, the lower setting feels like the disposable hot hands, I love that these can be much warmer. The box they come in is a nice touch also.
I will be ordering more from Ocoopa, everyone would like a pair of their own now. - Gale SmithAmazingly warm and long lastingI really like these hand warmers. They are worlds better than the old lighter fluid types I used for decades. They charge via usbc, and the charge can last for a couple days of moderate use. No more lighter fluid smell and the hassle of filling it and lighting the wick, just press the button for fast heat. They are more compact, and can be slid into a pair of gloves. If you want a product that's easy to use, puts out decent heat this is a great purchase. They have been a big hit when given as gifts. Their value for keeping your hands warm greatly exceeds the cost.
- CG1981Hot deal!!!These little hand warmers are impressive.
Pros:
They are small and lightweight, and are easy to slide in your gloves without an extreme hindrance on hand movement (I use them on the knuckle side while riding).
They are inexpensive, magnetic, include a lanyard hook/lanyard to hang from wrist when not in use, and the battery last for quite a while. (4 hours on medium and only lost one bar of battery - roughly 33%.)
The heat output is much better than I expected for the size. The highest setting will burn a little on bare skin. (I usually run it on medium for about 20 minutes and then low to maintain the heat.)
Cons: The power button is on top, next to the heat plate, and you hit it while using the hand warmers. (This usually results in increasing the heat setting.) The texture of the hand warmer should have been grippy instead of a smooth plastic, as they slide around A LOT. - Jeffrey WilliamsA good hand warmer with a handful of small shortcomingsI’ve been using these OCOOPA hand warmers for a little while now, and overall I really like them. They definitely get hot — I’d guess close to the 125°F they advertise — and that temperature is perfect for actually warming your hands. As someone with mild Raynaud’s, the heat really does make a difference, and these offer quick relief when my fingers start to go cold.
The downsides are mostly around practicality. The battery life is fine, but the charge time feels slow. When I run them on high, it seems like they take almost as long to recharge as they last. The included Y-shaped charging cable was a nice idea in theory, but one of the two output ends on mine didn’t work at all, so I ended up charging one side at a time anyway.
OCOOPA’s model system could also be clearer. The numbers (3, 4, etc.) feel random — if the “4” is supposed to be better than the “3,” I really can’t tell how based on their descriptions. On top of that, the sizing isn’t consistent: some models list measurements in centimeters and others in inches. It makes comparison way harder than it should be. For larger hands, these are on the small side. They still help, but they don’t fill your palm the way I’d like.
I also ordered another OCOOPA model with heat on both sides and I prefer that one. Its a nice feature that warms more evenly and works just as well overall. I’d recommend a 2-sided model if you’re deciding between the two. One major downside of both models is the size. Yes, small makes them portable and easy to fit in your pocket, but these do not work great for people with large hands.
Still, the heat output and reliability make this a solid 4-star pick — great for cold hands and Raynaud’s, with room for improvement in design and charging. - joshWork great, will use all winter long.Pretty great, they heat up fast and feel good in the hands. Instant warm hands when you want them in the cold weather. Being rechargeable makes them even better and more convenient.
- MBPerfect for marching band. Here’s the updated review with your addition:
Review:
These hand warmers are fantastic! The battery life is impressively long—setting 1 was warm enough with gloves on. My son is in the marching band and used them while playing his instrument, and they worked great for him. Highly recommend! - BCreative3.14Great little hand warmers!Got these for a stocking stuffer for my wife, but gave them to her early for her cold morning walks and she was delighted with the surprise. The dual plug cable for charging is perfect. The magnetic feature is great for keeping them together when not in use. They charged up quick and warm up real nice (level 3 was a bit too warm!). The colored cover was a nice touch. Button functions are simple and easy to use.
- Barb GerronGreat product for keeping hands and fingers warmI can't say enough good things about these hand warmers. With Raynaud's, it's hard to keep my hands warm in winter (or in the frozen section of the grocery store any time of year). I use these when I know I will probably be cold to keep my hands, especially fingers, warm before they get cold. It can be painful to get too cold with Raynaud's, so these are actual hand and finger savers. They charge up quickly and last about 3 hours. They are small enough to fit in my pockets and be discreet. So far, they are very durable.
