- Professor AhabGood but not GreatMy son (10 y/o) and I are relatively new to basketball card collecting, so we’re nowhere near experts. I ordered these as they could be delivered early on a rainy Sunday and would give us something to do. I wasn’t terribly impressed with these, particularly because the partnership seems to be with the NBA Player’s Association instead of the NBA itself. Because of this, all of the photos in the cards were digitally altered to remove the image team names/logos of the clubs. Small sample size, but we didn’t pull anything interesting in our one box.
Overall, you are getting the decent quality from Topps, but there are a lot of filler, no-name players and the cards kind of feel like knockoffs due to the jerseys in the photos being altered.
