This pair was different from most dollar store headphones and many other brands you can find on Amazon. Featuring a metal shell, these headphones can withstand countless accidental drops (and if you are a rage gamer, perhaps a few throws). What is surprising is that even though these headphones could take a beating, durability is not even the main feature. At the time of purchase, they were a preferred pair of headphones for eSports and other professional gamers. They still offer the sound quality needed to hear everything you need to in games; A quality mic as far as in-line mics go; and surround sound capabilities. Not to mention other nifty features like a volume nob on the headset (in-line ones tend to be faulty), mute button, and easy adjustability. It is hard to find a great headset that does everything this one does, is also very durable, and at a price point around $60. Razer products can be hit or miss at times but these headphones are the best I have ever purchased. I still use them when I play game or when I want to watch YouTube or listen to music in solidarity and they only have a few minor cosmetic scratches.
