The candle stick holders were made of a gold metal but looked like plastic with how shiny they were. This product in the color Gold leaf is still a bright gold but was a big improvement. - TammyApplied Great! Color looked Copperish though???It works fantastically! But if you’re looking for a more bronze antique look, like well aged brass, antique brass is NOT it. I ended up reordering the European Gold rub n buff, and THATS the perfect aged brass look. I’ll add a photo of an antique brass light which honestly looks more copper than brass. And the European gold.
