- Joseph DoughertyLight, effective, great in suitcases, great priceSome months ago, I purchased a well-known suitcase brand with a collapsing "closet" feature for packing a lot of clothing in a smaller space. That suitcase also had a pocket for inserting their brand's power banks and plugging it into a USB port near the handle. This enables the traveler to charge up a mobile phone or other device without digging through a bag for a charger or using public charging stations. I found their brand of power bank, a solar-charged device, to be unreasonable high.
This Anker Power Bank is approved for carry-on baggage, so it's safe you bring with you on a plane. There are three output ports, one of which doubles ad as input port to charge the bank. You can easily give a full charge to most mobile phones, and the device even has a trickle charge feature for low-power items. This is so convenient for quick charges to top off a phone, tablet or headphones before storing your bag away. Yet it's light enough to carry in a pocket and it's about the same size and slimness as many modern mobile phones.
This bank fit my suitcases charging compartment perfectly and connected just fine with the suitcase's USB wiring. The best part is saving about $125 versus the cost of the "suitcase" brand. The USB-C port is a fantastic best feature. It allows for both input and output, which means you can charge the power bank itself with a modern USB-C cable and also charge your USB-C devices, like newer phones and tablets, directly from the battery! This versatility makes it an even more convenient! and future-proof accessory. - DanWorks well, but doesn't come with a chargerSo far it has been working very well for me, the charge is quick and I've been able to get multiple charges to my phone off of one charge for the power bank. I only took off a star because somehow this doesn't come with a charger for the actual power bank. Luckily I had a charger available as it uses the same as my Ring devices (I believe it's a micro-USB?), but it seems very odd to not come ready to charge if you don't happen to have the correct charger on hand.

With one batter, you can get multiple full charges off a single charge. I do recommend charging this overnight as it takes awhile, but this simple battery will last you. It's compatible with several cord types, but keep a USB-C handy to charge the actual batter. It's durable, portable, and easy to hide. What more could you ask for? (This doesn't support wireless charging.)

The charging speed if good and the weight isn't terrible. It is a battery overall. The design is cool too, sleek and easy to put in almost any pocket in a standard backpack.

It does take a while to charge back up but the payoff is worth it and charges way faster than my previous portable charger. You can never go wrong with Anker products. Highly recommend
