5.0 out of 5 stars Nice cart

I started using this cart when I began going to different events and needed to carry my things around. This made it a lot easier than lugging things by hand.

The cart feels a bit flimsy but holds up well.

5.0 out of 5 stars So far so good

Many of the reviews noted poor quality, but I have been pretty impressed with this product. I am a traveling art therapist and have carted this back and forth through grass, hallways, pavement, and dirt without issue. The handle stays up when I need it to, it’s tall enough for me, and the wheels have stayed on to my surprise. The cart has held its shape and no parts have broken off since I have been using is every business day for a month. The only issues I had is that a paintbrush fell through the bottom, but that is to be expected and was problem solved with some organization. The other issue was that papers go wet in the rain, as this one does not have a lid, of which I was aware. For the price I got this one at in comparison to others that cost more I felt the quality was great for the cost!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great compact carrier
Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2014
I have owned one of these carriers for 3 years. I live in an apartment complex that is several stories high and use it mostly to haul up plastic bags filled with groceries. I also use it to carry laundry to the laundry room. The carrier has held up very well over the years. One of the clips broke off and handle doesn't slip up and down as it used to - it takes some jiggling around to make it retract to compact size. Overall though, I would recommend purchasing one of these.
I have also bought a Olympia Tools 85-404 Pack-N-Roll Mesh Rolling Carrier which works well but has not held up as well as the 85-010 model. I have recently purchased a 2nd 85-010 carrier and use both at once when there are extra groceries or other shopping items to haul up.
Update 08-02-16: I purchased a 3rd carrier ( a Staples model) to keep in my apartment for moving laundry baskets. I keep two Olympia 85-010 carriers in my vehicle for moving groceries, shopping items, item. The Staples model broke in a matter of 8 months. So, it has since been tossed into the dumpster and replaced by another Olympia 85-010 model carrier. I have 3 now. One of which (the oldest) is cracked at the crate and the clips have broken off but still serviceable. Again, I would recommend this model because it's inexpensive and holds up well. It's not mean to haul up bricks and heavy equipment. But, for groceries and shopping items it the best choice that I'm aware of.

4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome and can take a real workout

These carts last about two+ years on average and then I buy a new cart when the old one breaks. But I really put these carts under great strain and that is what ultimately drives them to break. I like to keep one in the back of my car so it is always ready to go! They fold up very thin and instantly spring open for a big load.

1.0 out of 5 stars Handle came apart on its first trip

This cart is a replacement for an identical one I had ordered a week earlier: that one was never used as it arrived with its handle broken, so I returned it and ordered a new one. When this one arrived it looked ok, and the little nubs that would hold the handle extended seemed to pop into place ok in the holes provided. One part of the handle slides into the other on both sides and is to be locked into position by means of a retractable button and hole. I did have my doubts when I noticed that the inner bars with the retractable nubs that slide into the outer bars with the hole were exceedingly short, but they seemed to lock in ok.
I put approximately 10 lbs of art supplies inside (see photo) and tried to wheel it out of my first floor residence to my car when the two parts of the handle came completely apart on one side, even though I applied no twisting or torque to the handle. I attempted to put it back in when the other side slid out as well (as it was so short) and the little nubs disappeared into the recesses of the inner handle, making it impossible to keep the two pieces from sliding freely when trying to use the crate. I needed the cart that day so my husband duct taped the joint where the handles come together for me. I tried sending a message to the seller via Amazon, then when I got no reply I tried calling the number given for the seller. I've heard nothing in over a week. I cannot recommend this product as the manufacturer appears to have taken shortcuts with the handle lengths and quality.

I went to a book convention and bought this specifically for the convention. I bought two, cuase I have an obsession with books, and thank God I did. I was able to stack them on top of each other easily and maximize my storage without blocking the isle. Also made it easier when driving home and not having the figure how to store the books. They already were!

3.0 out of 5 stars It's okay.

First one delivered had the handle broken so it was replaced quickly, which was really nice. The plastic tote part is pretty sturdy when opened but the handle is just junk and flimsy metal. It doesn't fold up nice and easily stored in the trunk of a car. I wouldn't use it often or with heavy items. It's good for small items and light groceries.
