- Book GnomeALL Visible Pennies Scratched—Go To The Bank InsteadI bought these for a commemorative gift for my wife who loves pennies and was shocked to hear that the U.S. government would no longer be minting them. When my roll of pennies arrived, I was incredibly disappointed to find that the pennies on each end of the roll were both scratched and scuffed. This was a gift, and 100% of the pennies that are visible are damaged—certainly NOT “uncirculated” as advertised. I cannot possibly recommend this product. Go the bank instead.
