- ChrisQuality portable power stationFunctions well and has had quality and dependable battery life while also being compact. The ability to adjust charging speed between 100-1200 watts with the ultra fast charging option also available is quite useful. Though I haven't used the ultra fast charging option (as it may lead to battery damage) the slower charging speeds can be useful for those who use off grid solar systems that such high charge rates may be unable to support or could damage. These options (as well as others ) are controlled through a Bluetooth app that has consistently functioned well. So far, this power station has outperformed those I have used in the past.
- J2021gGood power source, full UPS. Emergency power easy to carry. Output 120V Sine Wave or 12V DC.Impressive capability. I use it for 120V AC UPS for communications home system including router, LAN switches, desk top computer, computer display, telephone. It consumes about 4-6 Watts doing its duty (once the internal battery is charged). In my application the standby current of all the items above is 44 Watts at 120V FULL SINE WAVE. I like the handles to carry the 20 pound load. The ability to see and change settings via the internet (or Bluetooth) is neat. Only small issue so far has been when hooking up a solar panel or charging through the battery port, seems there is a 5 minute or so delay before either kicks in. Also wish there was a more complete manual to give the minute details of device capability, like the delay to expect in the solar panel charging to start.

It's a power station, so there's not a lot of functionality as it provides power and needs to charge. That said it has a nice screen that shows the power draw when being used, charging time when charging, percent left, and the app has a bunch of little features and functions for whatever. Hoping it lasts, but it's great right now! - Katcha SandersonWell worth the price.This was such an excellent device that we bought 3! It easily replaces a noisy, gas guzzling generator as well as enables us to live within a more modest off grid system's ability to power our entire house. In summer it helps us to enjoy longer AC use and in winter we can watch movies into the night without drawing down our house batteries.
The device panel is easy to read and very informative regarding device charge level as well as appliance usage. - John PaulSuper convenient, powerful, easy to use and move aroundThese Solix batteries are awesome. I use a first-gen on my sump pump for when the power fails during storms. Have another first-gen and this new gen-two to use on a standup freezer and my refrigerator. These are simple to use, the app is completely sensible and easy to follow, and they just work perfectly.
Heavy, but small enough to carry around easily when you need to move them. They charge quickly and have a ton of ports for devices and AC devices.
If you live in an area with flaky power and cannot get a whole-house generator, these are excellent. I wouldn't even bother with a gas-powered portable generator. To bridge a gap of a few hours a couple of these are great, instead of running outside in a thunderstorm, hoping you have gas, and starting up a regular generator. These things just work immediately. - skip in CAA great power station!It works great! I've only used it for a week, but I'm pleased with its performance, Its a size and weight my wife and I can carry, ( I am a senior). It charges fast and seems to last when plugged into a 110 house current. ( I opted for the 200W solar panels, perhaps I didn't allow enough time but it seemed slow to recharge the power station) I was in the market for something to keep a couple of table lamps on, charge our phones and laptops during a power outage. (Our longest power outage was around 13 hours) My plan is to now purchase a larger power station to run a refrigerator, TV and fan, and on wheels for portability.
- Scott Lambfantastic all-day UPSThis is a fantastic, compact, inexpensive all-day UPS for computer equipment. A traditional UPS lasts a few minutes: just long enough to safely shut down software that doesn't implement durability well (pet peeve, don't get me started) or for a generator to kick in. But this keeps everything running all day, with no need for a generator.
That said, nothing's perfect, and I've noticed a couple quirks:
* The manual says the "car charger output" is 12V. I was hoping it was regulated at 12V exactly. But it's really *about* 12V, just like the cigarette port in a car. I measured it at 13.4V just now. So if you're plugging in something that expects regulated 12V, you need to use a buck converter or just stick with AC->DC converters. A lot of electronics that come with a 12V wall wart might actually not be that picky, but they don't come with spec sheets that list acceptable input ranges, and so probably better safe than sorry.
* Speaking of DC output, the car port's also 10A max. I wish it had a 12V30A output or some such.
* When you do a firmware update, it shuts off the outputs halfway through. If you have your cable modem, router, switch, wifi access point, etc. plugged into the power station, then the firmware update will also fail. That's awkward. So you have to find a good time to do the update when you can move them to a different outlet before and back afterward.
