  • An Excellent Alternative to Television
Tyrus captures the state of our nation past and present. He gives a pro/con vision into the misunderstandings causing political divide in our country today. It’s an easy read and the chapters are short, which I prefer.
  • What a Guy!
I love Tyrus outlook and opinion on America and matters of the heart. He's down to earth and a good man. I don't have to agree with everything he writes, but as he says "let's agree to disagree." He owns his flaws and aspires to do better for his family and country. His outlook comes from his personal struggles and those we all go through. I found this book and his other books a very easy read that flows smoothly from page to page, chapter to chapter. From the school of hard knocks and hard work comes a man who can standup to or up for others and make people laugh at themselves and the world around us. He's an inspiration for anyone who wants to move forward with a smile.
  • Loved it!
I just this minute finished reading this wonderful book written by a guy I adore watching and listening to on TV. This book is very well written. This book comes from his heart, soul and mind. I do agree with him on most everything. The book also makes you think about yourself and what was and what is. In Yiddish there is a saying that Tyrus is an old soul. That is a good thing. It is a compliment. It means he has wisdom far beyond his years. In this life you do not meet too many old souls. It comes from living a life with a lot of adversity and that adversity made him a stronger and wiser person. He learned from his adversity. That being said the book covers a range of topics that are very important in this lifetime and the future of this country. I hope others that read this book learn from it.
    Thanks for a great read!
  • PATRIOTISM in plain English
Every American should read this book. It is filled with great common sense statements that should be taught in Middle School. Yes it’s a conservative viewpoint but it’s not outlandish, insulting or a How to guide. What it is, is a basic understanding of what it means to be American. We don’t have to agree, we have to Respect one another. America is the only country where you have the right to express your Opinion about anything and NOT go to jail, but could be assassinated?? NO that is UnAmerican! We need to make a U-Turn, get back to basics and back to Loving our Neighbors & this book, is a great start!! My 12 y/o son will be reading this book during Xmas Break.
    God Bless Us All! ????
  • A must read for everyone!
This book is a must read for anyone yearning for common sense insights into the America of today…funny as well as insightful.
  • Worth reading!
Excellent read. My husband and i both agree with his views.
  • Bad book
This book was recommended to me by a man who recommends a ton of things, but this one just wasn't it
  • Classic Tyrus
Tyrus has a clear, no nonsense approach to life. I really admire his style and I enjoy his comments on Gutfeld. This book carries on his approach to a variety of topics.
