It works very well on both sized jars, easy to use, charge lasts for quite a few jar seals. I've been in the process of putting all my flours, nuts, seeds, dried fruits, etc and even my 83 year old mom can use it. The best gift I ever gave myself!

Tip: with light dried goods that are full to the top, uh, cover and go a little slower to stop the air from rushing in so hard. (You know, not what I did ????)
If you put food in jars, get it. It works right the first time, everytime. It will even work while charging. I have been using it for over a month now and its GLORIOUS. Every day. Several times a day. I charge it about once a week when it gets to 60%.
I love alone, in a very small house, make my own nut milk, have a whole pantry of dry goods, and have struggled with stale dry goods if I don't make huge batches and freeze things. Which is it's own food saving issue. I work long hours so going to the store frequently is exhausting.
With this? I am able to vaccume seal dry goods, coffee, or even left overs going into the fridge to help me eat from it longer. Honestly? It's saved me on special lids or more bands too and made the profile of the jars easier to stack and store around. Best yet? It takes up so little space, unlike larger sealing products, uses glass that I can use multi purpose, and is less expensive then other air-removal solutions!! (Space saving to the max!)
Another tip: keep the bottle opener near by to get those lids off. They are brutal otherwise! But that's just how Mason lids are when they are sealed.
Oh, and: the seal can sometime extend to the machine. When it's about as sealed as you can get it, turning off will make a little squeak while it equalizes a bit. If the machine is a bit stuck on top, give it a little rock back and forth while pulling down on the jar to break the secondary seal, or try turning it like a lid. It's come off every time, for me, without breaking the primary (jar) seal.
Last tip: be brave about lining up the thing and pushing straight down. If you "check" the lid will come up in the machine and you'll have to fish it out and start over. This has never EVER been a problem but its surprising the first time. You shouldn't have to force it, but to get past the gasket there is a little bump. Taking an extra second (seriously, so fast) to make sure the lid is on straight first is nice. - SoccerLuv7Saves me lots of money!Saves me lots of money! - Mr. KarlSo far, so goodINITIAL IMPRESSIONS: I used the item for the first time on November 19, 2025. I sealed a wide-mouth Mason jar using one of the lids that came with the kit, allowing the machine to run for 45 seconds. The resulting vacuum was so good that I had to use the included tool to pry the lid off the jar. Sealers I have used before did not create this powerful of a vacuum. Those sealers, though, did have one feature this one does not: Automatic shut off. For the lack of that feature, I have removed one star. Outside of that, the initial test went well. I'll update this review down the road after using the item more.

This works great and the removal tool is really great. I seal the jar and when I need to open that jar again it isn't a huge pain to reseal it and put it back in the fridge. Everything stays fresher longer. I ordered side labels and I will be organizing my pantry in Mason jars.
