- Renay HouckWell-done ConclusionAs with the other books in the series, there is a lot of filler material about what the girls are doing on a day-to-day basis, but it's mostly fun and interesting, helping to develop the characters and their relationships to the house/ghosts. I kept trying to guess how Sonya would be able to fulfill her quest, and I loved the way that all panned out. My biggest question: does NR have a sponsorship with Coke?? My family book club joked that the girls would switch to Pepsi or dr pepper in book three, and THAT was going to be the "big twist" :):) hahahaha. Overall, I loved the third book...highly recommend! Pop open a Coke, let your dog out and then back in, and enjoy!
- RobinGreat ending to a fabulous series!I haven't loved Nora Roberts' most recent trilogies--didn't even care to finish a couple of them. So happy to say that she did a fabulous job on this one. Loved the people, the house, the pets, the good spirits, and hated the bad spirit--well written as both crazy and evil. NR is very good at creating strong, believable families and friends you feel you know, and who greatly enhance and advance the story. My only complaint about this series is that Trey continually calls Sonya "Cutie." That was like fingernails on a chalkboard for me every time I came across it. Just hated it, haha, and it didn't seem to fit lawyer Trey's character of something he'd call someone he loved. But highly recommend this series. It's completed. Enjoy.
- Kat in HawaiiLoved this Trilogy.Great trilogy. Characters are likeable, story is interesting and progressed a bit slowly in this last book. It takes up to chapter 29 to get the last portrait. Then it speeds up to end. Still, Nora Roberts is the queen of amazing stories. Loved the narration. It ended too soon. Wish there would be a follow up, but it's all neatly concluded. Great premises for a stlorline. Loved it. If you like a bit of a mystery, a mirror that transports one to the pass, a love story, great friendships, and lovrable townspeople, then you'll fall in love with the Poole family mystery of the Seven Lost Brides Trilogy.
- BSKG1943A Good ReadGhost stories are not my favorite, but Nora Roberts is!
I particularly like that the relationship between Cleo and Owen was strengthened and they verbalized their feelings for each other.
The relationship between Trey and Sonya had already been developed in the previous books. Bringing Cleo and Owen up to speed balanced the story nicely.
As always, Roberts excels at dialogue and strong storytelling centered around deep friendships and family. - Ginger RussellGood BookThis is the 3rd book in the trilogy, and it is similar to the first 2 books, although I thought it did not move as quickly. It is the same cast of characters, same location, etc. I enjoyed this series more than some of the previous trilogies, because while it features ghosts and spirits, at least the characters are regular humans and not elves and fairies. It is a good ghost story and might make a good movie. I do recommend that the books be read in order.
- TheBossLadyGreat set of books with a really good endingWhile I wasn't happy that book 2 was a cliff hanger, I was delighted with the final book of the Trilogy. It is well written, creative and I kept wondering how there was ever going to be a solution. Very impressive ending. Would recommend as long as you know you HAVE to read all three books in order. Great job, Nora Roberts.
- HaleySatisfying Conclusion! What a satisfying conclusion to The Lost Bride Trilogy! All of the ghostly activity and menace is dangerously ramped up as Sonya, Trey, Cleo, and Owen attempt to right the wrongs from the past and banish the evil from the manor forever. It was pleasing to see both couples moving forward in their relationships, and Trey and Owen's protective sides come out. This was a really spooky, fun, emotional and different series from Nora Roberts that I have thoroughly enjoyed!
- Valerie MattesonAmazing conclusion!I so love all of Nora Roberts' trilogies and this is yet another.
Throughout this trilogy and final book, I laughed, I cried, I was touched, and moved. The story and character development ensured my loyalty and kept my intent and vivid interest reading all three books.
I honestly don't know how any reader cannot be fascinated with a Noraad Roberts' book. Ms. Roberts has in imagination that is truly remarkable.
Without giving any spoilers, I can just say that this marvelous trilogy is one I know I will be reading over and over again!
The conclusion had the terrific good vs. evil and plenty of bonuses to make me more than happy.
Thank you, Nora! I hope you can keep writing for another decade and more.
