I wanted an iPad to view during minimalist, packing travel; my laptop Mac and screen are too big, and my iPhone screen is too small, so this is the happy medium. I gave my other iPad away years ago to my son, so of course the ear set I still have does not fit this one (I like archaic, but functional, plug-in-cord buds), and the set for my iPhone does not fit either; they just cannot be universal, which is typical for mercenary Apple (but, their excellent digital products are justifiably addictive).
